St Francis CYO Registration is now OPEN!!! If you have a son or daughter that are in grades 2 through 8 and and live in the SFA Boundaries or attend Saint Francis School, and have an interest in playing basketball and meeting new friends, then sign up here https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/270463
Registration opens August 1st, and ends August 31st. The season is 10 games and includes a jersey and coaching up to twice a week. If you have any questions please contact us at [email protected].

The health and safety of our students, families, and communities is our highest priority in determining the conduct of CYO Athletics this year.

In accordance with a directive from the Oakland Diocese, all Fall CYO activities are currently cancelled. Winter sports (Boys and Girls Basketball) has been tentatively postponed until January 1st. Our League Officials are working closely with the Oakland Diocese and health officials and will make a final decision on the status of the winter seasons on October 18th.

We appreciate your patience and wish you all the best as you stay safe during these challenging times.

This is the latest update for the upcoming 2020-21 basketball season from the East Diablo League Administration:

The safety and welfare of our children is our number one priority as we approach the CYO Season. Due to the daily changes in protocols surrounding the COVID-19 virus, we have moved our CYO registration to August 1st. The East Diablo CYO Administration is in constant communication with other CYO League Officials and we anticipate a final decision on the CYO season in the weeks ahead.

We will keep you posted on any updates. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this difficult time.

Oakland Diocese CYO Playoffs begin this weekend with St Francis represented by our 5th, 7th and 8th grade American teams! Come out and support our teams this weekend.

Friday, February 21
8th grade Boys vs St Raymond at 8:00pm at St Bede's Parish Center in Hayward

Saturday, February 22
7th grade Boys vs St Isidore at 9:00am at St Bede's Parish Center in Hayward

Sunday, February 23
5th grade Boys vs TBD at 1:00pm at St Joachim Parish Gym in Hayward

Boys National Division:

Congratulations to our 5th, 7th and 8th grade American Boys teams who won East Diablo Championships today! All 3 teams will play next weekend in the Oakland Diocese playoffs! Way to go Falcons!
