Hilltop Chapel

Hilltop Chapel The real beauty of Hilltop Chapel is not the picturesque church you see from the road, but the people you will meet when you step inside.

There are moments when life weighs on you and moments when your heart feels full. In both situations, it’s easy to carry things on our own or move on without ever turning to God.

This Sunday, we’re reminded by James to bring every part of life to the Lord in prayer. If you’ve been carrying something heavy, or if you need to be reminded that you don’t walk through life alone, come worship with us.

This Sunday we will be introducing a newer song, “My Worth Is Not in What I Own.”

As we look at James 4 and what authentic faith says about wealth, this song will help set our hearts in the right place, shifting our focus from what we have… to Who we have. It also draws our hearts back to the Cross as we continue reflecting on what Jesus has done for us.

Take a few minutes this week to listen and become familiar with it so you can fully engage in worship with us on Sunday and sing with confidence.

Resurrection Sunday - He is Risen! He is risen indeed!

The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty! Jesus has risen from the dead.

Death is defeated. Hope is alive.

Key Verse: “He is not here, for he has risen.” (Matthew 28:6)

Scripture Readings: Matthew 28:1–10; Mark 16:1–8; Luke 24:1–12; John 20:1–18

The resurrection changes everything. Because He lives, there is hope, victory, and new life available to you today.

Join us at 11:00 AM at Hilltop Chapel (11700 Spring Arbor Road) as we worship our risen Savior together!

Holy Saturday – The Silence

Jesus’ body rests in the tomb. The disciples mourn. Everything feels still and uncertain.

But God is still working even in the silence!

Key Verse: “So they went and made the tomb secure by sealing the stone and setting a guard.” (Matthew 27:66)

Scripture Readings: Matthew 27:62–66; Mark 15:42–47; Luke 23:55–56

Waiting seasons are not wasted seasons. Trust God even when nothing seems to be happening.

Good Friday – The Cross

Jesus is tried, mocked, beaten, and crucified. He bears the weight of sin and gives His life on the cross.

The sacrifice is complete. The price is paid.

Key Verse: “It is finished.” (John 19:30)

Scripture Readings: Matthew 27; Mark 15; Luke 23; John 18–19

Your debt of sin was not overlooked. Jesus paid it in full for you! Take time today to reflect on the cost of your salvation and respond with gratitude and surrender.

Join us tonight for a community Good Friday Service as we reflect together on the cross of Christ. This year, the service is held at Beacon Church at 6000 Reynolds Road. It begins at 6:00 PM.

Maundy Thursday – The Last Supper & Arrest

Jesus shares the Passover meal with His disciples. He breaks bread, washes their feet, and prepares them for what is coming. Later, in the garden, He prays and is arrested.

On the night He was betrayed, He chose to love and serve.

Key Verse: “This is my body, which is given for you.” (Luke 22:19)

Scripture Readings: Matthew 26:17–75; Mark 14:12–72; Luke 22:7–62; John 13–18

Jesus loved and served even when He knew what was coming. Ask God to help you love others with that same humility and faithfulness.

Note: Join us tonight at the Family Life Center (11000 Spring Arbor Road) at 6:30 PM for our community prayer gathering. We lift up one another and the needs of our community in prayer. On this night that Jesus prayed, it is fitting for us to come together in prayer as well.

Spy Wednesday – Betrayal Begins

While Jesus rests in Bethany, Judas agrees to betray Him for thirty pieces of silver. What appears to be a quiet day is actually a turning point toward the cross.

God’s plan is unfolding, even through betrayal.

Key Verse: “And they paid him thirty pieces of silver.” (Matthew 26:15)

Scripture Readings: Matthew 26:14–16; Mark 14:10–11; Luke 22:1–6

Even in moments that seem dark or confusing, God is still at work. Trust Him today, even when you cannot see the full picture.
