You see, it's not all about you. It is all about him. Sometimes the hardest thing to do in life, is to truly be a humble person. C.S. Lewis said:

"True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less"

How about trying this: Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Your friends and family are excited to see the masterpiece that the Artist is making you into.

To Him be the glory.

In a world where truth is blurred with different versions of truth. As Christians we know that The Truth wants to, and always will be revealed. Jesus told his disciples in John 10:32 :

"and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free"
Seek the truth. If you seek the truth you will find Christ.

I wonder, when you listen, are you listening to understand what is being said, or do you already have a preset response and are not at all interested in the person or what is being said?

Time and again Jesus tells us to hear what is being said.

If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. (Mark 4:23)
Listening to His words, involves surrender and self-reliance on God.

A wise person once said: "God gave us 2 ears and one mouth for a reason." Imagine a world where we actually attempt to understand what is being said, before we climb on our high horse and give our response.

May you who have ears to hear, hear today.

The disciples asked Jesus, "who then can be saved?" I wonder would we even ask Jesus this same question today? Does it even matter if we have a savior?
In a culture where we continue to minimize what sin is and what it's effect on us is, will we eventually get to the place that there is no sin in the eyes of culture, and therefore we wont need a savior? Will Jesus be relegated to a kind person with good ideas of love and tolerance? I must admit, in my view, we are closer to this than we think. Let not your heart be troubled, there is hope. Jesus answered:

"With man it is IMPOSSIBLE, but not with God. For ALL things are possible with God. (Mark 10:27)

I know one thing. I need Jesus to be my savior, and for this I owe everything to Him. Thanks be to God
