When temperatures drop, our doors stay open.
Last night alone, 72 neighbors found shelter and 345 meals were shared.

A huge thank you to The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary of Concord NC for collecting school supplies for the families at our Tucker Center of Hope. It is greatly needed and helps the confidence of our youth and families as they face challenges on a daily basis (including heading back to school).

Souper Bowl - Here are some of the soups from our local restaurants available on Tuesday, February 20 at Central United Methodist Church in Concord: Brunswick Stew, Chicken & Dumplings, Taco, Vegetable, Italian Wedding, Chicken & Rice, and more! This is the Annual Fundraiser supporting The Salvation Army programs like Angel Tree and our local shelter, The Tucker Center of Hope which serves 19 men, 19 women and six families. GIVING Tuesday
The Salvation Army opened the new shelter this last year (the Cabarrus County shelter for 19 women, 19 men, and six families) and is in need of your time, talent, and treasure. Do you have two hours to spare? Do you need service hours, or would you like to help out children or seniors in need in our community? The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary needs people to help us with the Angel Tree in Carolina Mall. People will 'adopt' an angel and shop for their list of wants/needs. The volunteers we need will record the 'adoption' and record when the gifts are returned. 10/16 - 10/29 2023 - Clothing Collection for the Angel Tree and Silver Wings. New clothing only for Children ages newborn to 12 and for Seniors in our Community. All sizes are needed - Infant to Adult, both male and female. Coats, Gloves, Hoodies, Sweaters, Long-sleeve T-shirts, Jogging pants, Underwear, Pajamas, Socks, Shoes, etc. any and all are appreciated. Our local businesses are collecting while you shop or use their services!
