Preaching at Risen Church is expositional, meaning that it seeks to systematically work through passages of Scripture.

We are always so grateful to see God work through the lives and hearts of those at Risen Church! Steve and Hannah were baptized on March 15th, and what a joy it was to hear their testimonies and see them publicly profess their faith in Christ and Christ alone!

We are so grateful for the men (and pup!) who went to downtown Kannapolis this morning to offer to pray with passersby and pass out Gospel tracts. Please pray for the folks they were able to pray with today--that their hearts would be softened to the Gospel and that they would be saved! 🙏🙏

What a blessing it is to see growth through church membership! It was such a sweet time that we had praying over our newest members this morning during service!

Thank You, Lord, for growing Your church! Father, may Risen Church truly reflect the heart of the early church that we read about in Acts 2:42-47. As we seek You and serve You, we ask that You would continue to add to our number those being saved and those who are growing and maturing in their faith! Amen!

🌨Due to yet ANOTHER impending snow storm, and anticipated unsafe driving conditions this Sunday, we are MOVING UP our time of worship to tomorrow evening, Friday, at 6:30pm.

This will be a family integrated service, meaning we will not have Risen Kids ministry operating during the sermon. All ages will stay together, and we'll provide some sermon engagement resources for our younger kids.

EQUIP classes will not be held tomorrow, but Lord-willing, they will resume next Sunday at the normal time.

Like last week, we will send out a "worship from home" resource for you to use on Sunday for either private devotion or family worship!

We hope you'll join us tomorrow for gathered worship, and sanctify the Lord's Day from home while we wait for roads to return to normal. ☺

Due to Winter Storm Fern and the expectation of power outages and unsafe driving conditions, we will cancel all in-person gatherings (Equip Class, 10:30 worship, and Family Groups) for tomorrow.

Lord-willing, next Sunday, we will pick up right where we left off: with a new sermon series in Genesis 1-11 🌎and a simple after-service celebration of 3 Years as a church family. 🎂

Members, stay tuned for resources and suggestions on worshiping from home: tomorrow is still the Lord's Day, and He is still worthy of our collective praise! 🙌
