WHO’S "BLESSED" ACCORDING TO SCIPTURE?
Psa 1:1 BLESSED is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
• BLESSED is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered ~ Psa 32:1
• BLESSED is the man that trusteth in (the Lord) ~ Psa 34:8
• BLESSED is the man whom (the Lord) choosest, and causest to approach unto (him) ~ Psa 65:4
• BLESSED is the man whom (the Lord) chastenest ~ Psa 94:12
• BLESSED is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways ~ Psa 128:1
• BLESSED are they that have not seen, and yet have believed ~Joh 20:29
• BLESSED are they that hear the word of God, and keep it ~ Luk 11:28
• BLESSED are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered ~ Rom 4:7
• BLESSED are they that do his commandments ~ Rev 22:14
• BLESSED are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb ~ Rev 19:9
• BLESSED are the dead which die in the Lord ~ Rev 14:13
• BLESSED is the man that endureth temptation ~Jas 1:12
• BLESSED are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven ~ Mat 5:3
• BLESSED are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted ~ Mat 5:4
• BLESSED are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth ~ Mat 5:5
• BLESSED are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness ~ Mat 5:6
• BLESSED are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy ~ Mat 5:7
• BLESSED is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, & in whose spirit there is no guile ~ Psa 32:2
Having money and material possessions doesn't make us blessed. If we want to be blessed, let us line up with the Word of God.
