Preaching is in my bloodline. Ministry is part of my heritage. Some people choose the mantle but the mantle chose me. I didn’t just step into a pulpit; I answered a calling that was already reaching for me. This isn’t something I picked up along the way. I was born into the legacy, called into the assignment, and anointed to carry it forward. My Grandfather Rev O. Henderson and my Uncle Elder N. Shumate.

The calling is real, and the assignment is serious. When God calls you, He also prepares you, positions you, and gives you the grace to fulfill what He has placed in your hands.

What a powerful time of fellowship at the Central District Convocation!

There is something special that happens when God’s people come together in unity. Beyond the powerful preaching, anointed singing, and Spirit-filled worship, one of the greatest blessings was the genuine love and fellowship shared among the saints.

It was refreshing to see pastors, ministers, and believers encouraging one another, praying together, and celebrating what God is doing in each other’s lives and ministries. There was no competition—only a shared desire to see Christ glorified and His Kingdom advanced.

I left encouraged, strengthened, and grateful to have been in the company of so many faithful men and women of God. The fellowship was just as impactful as the messages because it reminded me that we are stronger together than we are apart.
