Dancers are given instructions on breaking ground for the congregation to receive the spoken word, evangelize communities, witness to those that are broken hearted, sick, and in prison. It is the goal of this conference to create leaders, equipped with the necessary

There are teachers… and then there are those who leave an imprint on a child’s heart for a lifetime.

We are honored to welcome Darlene Wade, visionary leader of Decorum I, whose ministry has been dedicated to nurturing children through the beauty of Word and living it out loud daily. With grace, creativity, patience, and unwavering faith, she helps young worshippers discover that every movement, every gesture, and every expression in life can glorify God.

Darlene has a unique gift for meeting children where they are and guiding them into a deeper understanding of worship. She inspires confidence, cultivates excellence, and teaches that worship is more than performance it is Ministry and it is a lifestyle surrendered to Christ.

Through Decorum I, children will learn to:

A gifted Singer • Songwriter • Psalmist • Minister of Music, John Bernard Jr. has impacted countless lives through powerful worship, authentic leadership, and music that inspires, heals, and points hearts to Christ. His ministry is marked by excellence, humility, and a genuine love for God’s people.

With over 30 years of experience in Sign Language Interpretation, Denise has faithfully used her gifts to bridge communication, break barriers, and make the Gospel accessible through the beauty of Sign Movement Ministry.

As the founder of S.O.G. – Signature of God, she has inspired countless individuals to see that every movement, every sign, and every expression can become an act of worship and a powerful witness for Jesus Christ.

It is our honor to introduce Karrita Webber, a gifted worshipper whose life and ministry reflect a heart fully devoted to Christ.

Through years of faithful service, Karrita has used the ministry of dance to encourage believers, disciple worshippers, and create sacred moments where lives are transformed by the presence of God. As a Liturgical Dancer, Teacher, and Ministry Leader, she exemplifies excellence, humility, and unwavering commitment to advancing the Kingdom through worship.

Her passion extends beyond movement—it is about equipping others to understand that dance is a powerful expression of prayer, worship, and the Gospel. She continues to inspire dancers to minister with biblical purpose, artistic excellence, and hearts surrendered to God.

🤍 Honoring a Legacy of Faithful Support 🤍

As we celebrate 30 years of Dancers Array ‘N’ Christian Evangelism Dance Company Ministries, we pause to honor two extraordinary servants whose unwavering love, prayers, and support helped lay the foundation for this ministry.

Emeritus B.T. Newman & First Lady Newman faithfully embraced the vision of Dance Ministry and Traveling Evangelism from its earliest days. They believed that dance was more than movement—it was ministry, worship, and a powerful tool to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Through every season, they opened doors, encouraged hearts, prayed without ceasing, and stood firmly behind the vision that God entrusted to our Founder and Director, Sandra J. Shackelford. Their steadfast support helped cultivate an atmosphere where dancers could be trained, equipped, and sent forth to minister across communities, churches, and beyond.

Though they have transitioned from labor to eternal glory, their legacy continues to live on in every life touched, every soul reached, and every worshipper who boldly declares Christ through dance.

We are excited to introduce Michele Derrick, our Young Adult Modern Dance Instructor for the 30th Annual Thee Liturgical Dance Conference 2026!

Michele is passionate about equipping young adults to worship God with authenticity, creativity, and excellence. Through the artistry of modern dance, she challenges dancers to move beyond technique and embrace movement as a powerful expression of faith, purpose, and surrender.

Her classes are designed to strengthen both the dancer and the disciple—encouraging spiritual growth, artistic excellence, and the confidence to minister through every movement. Michele has a heart for developing leaders who will impact their generation with grace, conviction, and Kingdom purpose.
