Please be careful with this line of weather coming through today. If you are out in the woods turkey hunting, look up and down, and around before you sit... this warm weather has the snakes out and about and today's strong winds are going to bring down some hanging limbs!

As a reminder, the Empty Bowls fundraiser for The Pantry in Oxford is on Tuesday (St. Patrick's Day) and the Church Ladies of Free Springs UMC Annual Bake Sale will be Saturday March 28th, up on the corner across from the Harmontown Fire House. Hope to see you there.

Another event that helps out in Lafayette County had to be rescheduled to Tuesday March 17th. This is The Pantry's big fundraiser to cover operating costs for this food pantry.

Don't forget this Saturday is the Household Hazardous Waste Collection here in Lafayette County (see previous shared post).

We are so thankful for a community that continues to show up, especially after the past few weeks 💚

Empty Bowls has officially been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 17th from 11am–1pm at the Oxford Conference Center.

For $25, you’ll share a lunch and directly support families who rely on the Pantry. With everything our community has faced lately, your support means more than ever.

We are looking forward to gathering together and making this our biggest Empty Bowls yet 🍀

If you can’t attend, you can still give and make an impact. Every bit helps.

One big pile already picked up by the county. Two more now ready...three piles moved into these two for pickup. Only have three more piles...and all the limbs to pull out of the cemetery, and the fire pit's ginormous pile to either burn or drag to the road edge. The project that keeps going...
