✨ Joy in the Gospel | Philippians 3 ✨

Today at Radiance, we were reminded that our joy isn’t found in achievements, headlines, or circumstances… it’s found in knowing Christ.

Philippians 3 shows us:
➡️ Joy in knowing Christ – everything else is loss compared to Him.
➡️ Joy in freedom – pressing forward, not chained to our past.
➡️ Joy in being rooted – anchored in Christ when the world is shaken.
➡️ Joy in being sent – living as citizens of heaven and ambassadors on earth.

Even in dark times, even when evil seems loud, the gates of hell will not prevail. Our King reigns, and we are called to press on with eyes fixed on Jesus.

🙌 What a powerful word for this moment. Let’s keep walking it out together — known by God, free in Christ, rooted in His presence, and sent with His Kingdom.

📖 “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ…” (Phil. 3:20)

Where praise becomes poetryThis is my first psalm & ode. In 2012 I started the journey of combining music and art and after some new direction, I’m excited about this project. My original songs bled into a painting. “Crimson Road”I dedicated this song to my grandpa, Malcolm Hall, who recently went home to be with the Lord. I also can’t help but mention & dedicate it too to Charlie Kirk — The Gospel calls us close, urging every soul with breath in their lungs to draw near, but it also sends us out with purpose.This painting portrays a heart fully surrendered to Jesus and all He accomplished on the cross. Yet it’s more than surrender — it’s about receiving life. The crimson road symbolizes the precious blood of Jesus, which brings true freedom. I am whole, saved, free only because He laid His life down for me and I’ve done nothing to earn it. I fully believe it in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. Rom 10:9The gospel isn’t about making bad people good. It’s about the miraculous transformation of raising the dead to life. 🫀If you truly search for Truth you will find it. But know there are and will be forces of evil blocking you from this Truth. Jesus is the only Way, the only Truth and the only Life. Find Him, live for Him! That’s what we were made for. What does it look like to carry the flame of God’s truth in a culture full of noise and compromise?
Paul’s words to Timothy still speak: Be a vessel of honor. Rightly handle the Word. Reflect Jesus in every response.
Let this stir you to live with deeper conviction and clearer purpose.

We’ve been entrusted with more than words — we carry a holy deposit. Paul’s charge to Timothy calls us to rightly handle God’s word, walk in sonship, and become vessels of honor—set apart, steady, and surrendered.
