🌈 When Was the Last Time You Were Amazed?

A breathtaking rainbow. A grandchild’s laugh. A familiar hymn that suddenly touches your heart. Sometimes an ordinary moment opens our eyes to God’s presence.

Join us at Goode Centennial UMC as we begin Purveyors of Awe: Rediscovering the Wonder of God. Through Peter’s encounter with Jesus in Luke 5:1–11, we’ll explore how awe deepens our faith and invites us to trust—even when we’re tired and our nets feel empty.

Awe may bring us to our knees, but grace doesn’t leave us there.

When was the last time someone asked what you thought—and stayed to hear your answer? 💬

Today, we conclude **Changemakers: From This Corner** with **“What Do You Want Me to Do?”** Jesus’ question to Bartimaeus invites us to consider our own hopes—and how we make room for one another’s voices and gifts.

On **Laity Sunday**, we’ll celebrate the everyday ministry of people whose care, faith, and service bring Christ’s love into our community.

Come reflect, worship, and discover what we might carry forward together. There’s room for your voice here—in person or online! ❤️

🌻 Five Loaves, Two Fish, and Us!

Today at Beautify the Corner, we shared tools, planted flowers, helped one another, and made new friends. Ordinary gifts opened new possibilities right here in our neighborhood!

Join us tomorrow as Changemakers: From This Corner continues with Creativity. Through Jesus’ feeding of the crowd, we’ll explore how God’s grace invites us to use what we have for the good of our neighbors.

We may not have everything, but God has already given us something. What might we discover together?

🌎🍞 No One Changes the World Alone

Join us this Sunday, October 4, as we celebrate World Communion Sunday and continue our series, Changemakers: From This Corner, with a focus on collaboration.

From the paths of the Camino to Christ’s table, we’ll explore how God brings us together to share our gifts, receive one another’s help, and serve our neighbors. We’ll also honor Hispanic Heritage Month and the gifts and leadership of our Hispanic and Latino neighbors.

There is a place for you here. Come receive grace for the journey we share. ❤️

🌎 CHANGEMAKERS: FROM THIS CORNER

This Sunday, September 27, we begin a new four-week sermon series exploring how God can use the gifts already among us to bring healing, hope, mercy, and justice into our community.

We begin with Compassion and Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan. All three travelers saw the wounded man—but compassion moved one of them to cross the distance and draw near.

What might change if we looked beyond categories, listened before prescribing solutions, and recognized the humanity and gifts of our neighbors?

Join us for worship and the sermon:
