NIGHTWATCH is back. Starting on Friday, September 25, all are invited to gather in prayer at the Church of Curé of Ars in Merrick for a Holy Hour with live music, confessions, and fellowship. Doors open at 7:00 PM with Adoration beginning at 7:30 PM. More details to follow.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be offering Quo Vadis as a one-day experience for high school teens at the Retreat and Conference Center of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington on Saturday, July 18th. We're excited to share that Fr. Liam McDonald has been appointed the Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Rockville Centre. He is currently the pastor of St. Thérèse of Lisieux Church in Montauk.

Fr. Liam was ordained to the priesthood on June 24, 2017, the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist. He attended Norwich University and Alfred State College before earning a degree in Architecture and Engineering Technology. Following college, he worked for three and a half years as an estimator for a mechanical contractor. It was during this time that he began discerning a call to the priesthood.

Fr. Liam spent two years discerning his vocation at the minor seminary in Douglaston, New York, before completing his spiritual, pastoral, and academic formation at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers, New York. Prior to arriving at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Church, Fr. Liam served as chaplain at Holy Trinity Diocesan High School and as Associate Pastor at Holy Family Church in Hicksville.

Outside of his mission of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Fr. Liam enjoys good coffee, hiking, running, and mountain biking. His favorite composer is Ludovico Einaudi, his favorite author is Michael O’Brien, and his favorite artist is William Kurelek.

The Diocese of Rockville Centre rejoices with the Marianist Province of Meribah over the ordination of Brother Patrick Cahill, S.M. to the diaconate in anticipation of his ordination to the priesthood this fall.

We invite men ages 18+ to join us for an Evening of Discernment on June 17, 2026. The night will begin with a Holy Hour and procession, as part of the National Eucharistic Congress, at 7 PM at the Retreat and Conference Center of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington.
