Jacoby Shaddix, the frontman of rock band Papa Roach, has continued to speak openly about his Christian faith, telling audiences that his relationship with Jesus Christ has transformed his life.
During a recent appearance, Shaddix reflected on his journey from addiction and a difficult past to sobriety and faith. He described his faith journey as a struggle filled with questions and failures, but said that he ultimately gave his life to God.
“I’m a full-blown believer now,” Shaddix said, describing himself as a follower of Jesus after once saying that becoming sober and becoming a Christian were two things he never wanted for his life.
His testimony has also been expressed from the stage. During a concert, Shaddix openly declared that he has “a relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” and said he is not afraid to speak about it publicly.
From a life marked by struggle to openly acknowledging Jesus as Lord, his story is a reminder that God can meet people in their darkest seasons and lead them toward a completely different life.
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 🙏🏻✝️
