Are you looking to help others and get a year end tax deduction??? I CAN HELP 😀😀😀

Many of you know we have a non profit that is actively involved in ministry work in Haiti. Here are a few of our needs -

1. Basic food - food has doubled in price since the Dominican border has been closed.

2. Fuel - Gas is nowhere to be found in our area since the gangs are stopping the fuel trucks and demanding large sums of money to pass thru on the roads.

3. Christmas - small gifts can bring the biggest smiles and help a child temporarily forget the chaos of life. We would like to provide each person with a gift and funds for a nice meal. 🎁🎁

All gifts are 100% tax deductible. 😀

There was no school today as the gangs were close to Leogane. Last week kids missed a day of school due to the gangs as well.

We are praising Jesus for his protection Saturday night. Mackens (he and his wife run our girls home) woke up during the night to people on their tin roof trying to steal the solar panels. Something made the thieves change their mind and leave. They didn’t take anything and even better… no one was hurt. THANK YOU JESUS!!❤️❤️

Answered Prayers was able to help with some necessary projects.

Pictured are some mattresses the girls were sleeping on. As you can see, they were very broken down with no support underneath. 😞

AP was able to purchase plywood to offer good support and replace the mattresses. The girls are very appreciative 😀

We were also able to purchase a couple needed laundry baskets.

What a beautiful group of young people ❤️ we are so proud of them.

Could you please pray along with us that the critical situation in Haiti will get better. As you can see, they are ready and sponsors have been gracious to be sure each child has everything they need for school. The kids want to go to school but it’s too dangerous so they are all locked up in the house day in and day out.

Haiti rarely makes the news headlines here but the reality is… things are very bad there on multiple levels. I’ll spare you most of the details but if you really want to know the level of violence the gangs are imposing… feel free to ask or look it up.

The necessities have become hard to find, let alone purchase at such inflated rates. Gas is $30/gal… if you can find any.

It is dangerous to go out and get food/water for the home for fear someone may jump you or even kill you for your goods.

I am opening the “Christmas fund” now and would love to send money for each child to get a couple gifts and have a good dinner. 🎁🎁

The 2022 school year is wrapping up. This has been a good year for the children without all the interruptions and closures of the past 2 years. For that we are so thankful. 😀

Schooling is not free and we are looking for donors. You can fully sponsor a child or give a donation of any amount towards these schooling expenses. 📚

These children work hard at their school subjects. Achieving good grades is important. They get up at 4am to get ready. They usually make spaghetti to eat before going to school at 6am, get a smal snack at school and return home at 6pm. It is then dinner time, homework and a couple chores before bedtime. 🥱

The children listed here attend several different schools. Rosie and Mackens chose schools that best fit each child’s needs and learning. With that being said, besides the school fees, there are also daily transportation fees and $25/day in lunch costs. Prices have really inflated in Haiti as well.

We would like to have all fees by beginning of June so the tuition can be paid to hold their places.

Praise the Lord He saw fit for the miracle of everyone being released.

The remaining 12 hostages kidnapped by an armed gang in Haiti two months ago were released Thursday, according to the country's justice minister.

Would you like to help make Christmas extra special at Agape girls home by donating towards this event?

Money received will go towards a large meal (they always share with others) and a gift or 2 for each person. Please enjoy the updated photos!!

If funds are left over, Rosie & Mackens try each year to take the kids to a community of children less fortunate and serve. They help facilitate for each child to get a bath, set of clean clothes, and a toy if possible. They then prepare as much food as possible, eat with the community and preach the gospel. If little Bibles are available, they distribute those as well.

Praise the Lord for a new stove/oven for Agape girls home.

Private donations helped Rosie and Mackens secure a new stove but then they needed funds for some hookup materials and propane tank.

Answered Prayers was able to help provide for that request. 🥳👏

When I became aware that several of the medicines had ran out and not available in Haiti, I wasn’t sure what to do.🤷🏾‍♀️

God had a plan all along 😀

My daughters’ sister in law came from Haiti for a visit and…. She was more than willing to help by taking back the medicines and mosquito netting. 👏

Happy June and thank you for your continued support!!

The children are out of school for summer break. This past school year had less interruptions than the previous year so that was a huge blessing. If you recall, they started back to school early in the Fall to make up for lost time the previous year. They each completed that grade and went on to advance another grade after this past year.

Nata graduated this year and is wanting to go onto college for nursing so the details of that are being looked into.

We are seeking sponsorships/donations to make another school year possible for these children. It is $600 per child. That will help cover the down payment needed ASAP to reserve their place, tuition for next school year, and hopefully books, shoes, uniforms, backpacks, etc. There are transportation fees for some of the children as well.
