Small Muslims Co.

Small Muslims Co. We aim to provide positive resources that teach children to love Allah and be proud of their Islamic identity.

We are a product/service based company with one goal in mind: to help young Muslims learn to LOVE Islam. We aim to achieve this by our Islamic weekend program for children ages 3 to 6, where we will cover core subjects, such as Aqeedah, Hadith, Seerah and Quran, through age-appropriate, hands on activiites. Also, we manifest this goal through our online store in which we provide fun, quality t-shirts that support Islamic virtues.

This is a clip of a 1 on 1 session with one of my students who has been flying through the القاعدة النورانىة (aka the Noorani book) - mashallah I'm so amazed at this young students' potential.

This student just recently turned 5 years mashallah and is already well on his way to reading the quran independently soon inshallah.

With teaching young preschoolers to read the quran, I've learned (thus far) it is crucial to start early and include different modalities to learn - coloring, writing, technology, painting, 'shared reading', and many more.

With many inquiries regarding the resources I use to teach my small muslims, I've finally been able to share my tool for teaching the arabic alphabet alhamdulilah! Needless to say, young students love this! It's an engaging, hands-on activity that really captures their attention from start to finish.

Research has shown that when students use different mediums to learn the same material, they are able to retain that information longer. That's why I like to incorporate coloring, tracing, cutting, and glueing in each letter activity.

I usually teach a letter a day, and students designate two pages in their composition book to glue their finished product. After reviewing the name of the letter and the sound it makes, students can independently complete the activity on their own bithnillah.

Try this product on our TpT store and download before the 20% Eid sale ends!

This interactive notebook makes learning the arabic alphabet fun and engaging for young students. Students practice their fine motor skills as they color, trace, cut, and glue each letter. We hope these activities are as helpful to you as they are for

Incorporating technology into islamic education - dugsi, madrasa, weekend school - would increase student interest and engagement. It's a win-win-win for teachers, students, and the community!

They love it when we make a real world connection to the letters: ح for حمزة (Hamza). It's almost as if the letters come alive for them. Also, I've noticed that activating their prior knowledge ("you know this already") gives them a boost of self-confidence. I stay amazed at what these 3 and 4 year olds can learn mashallah!

We started a new unit on Allah's names and we are obsessed! We started the discussion with 'How many names do you have?' and went around the group as we shared our names (spoiler: everyone had 1 name). They were amazed that Allah has many names!

Our humble creative aspirations 😁. Who said coloring and learning du'a don't mix?

We love using the 'I can...' book series in our program so much! What a wonderful resource mashallah to teach positive affirmations that teach Islam! This past weekend we did a review on the to recite when in a car. Do you know it??

Awesome!

the idea is that kids take the responsibility to make sure that they do all five things every night as their bedtime routine

Sorry for the loud background noise! But then again, learning is loud and messy. We covered the letter Kaf (ك) this past weekend, and we had sticky hands galore after finishing this hands-on colorful activity
