JULY is approaching fast, and everyone is getting excited and nervous...lol...
This is going to be a great event as we collaborate with our special needs adult community from Pop Austin Recreation Center! Come out and support our performers as they lipsinc and portray great artists and groups that helped to make memories of good times and good friends-back when 'Music Had Meaning' and the lyrics didn't disrespect, displease, disgust, disrupt, or disband the whole community that listened. The music from back in the day evoked emotions that people could relate to a time and place. Last show was standing room only! I will be reposting pics and videos of some of the performances. I am grateful that many will be returning, and also for the newcomers who are excited to be a part of the event this year. Hope to see you there!

We are gearing up for our next BIG SHOW!
You can search "When Music Had Meaning" and "When Music Had Meaning Encore" on FB to view some of the fabulous performances from last year! This is a FREE lip sinc concert with ordinary people (young and older) in the community doing an extraordinary job of portraying stars and groups from days gone by and "When Music Had Meaning". This concert is to help inspire our youth with music that evoked positive vibes and memories with clean lyrics and soothing sounds. This year's playlist will include performances also by our Special Olympics and Special Needs adults of Pop Austin Recreation!
