Our first He Said She Said was a FULL HOUSE — three tables of 8!

Guests were welcomed by Bro. Darius, Gabriel, Connie, and lil Lala as they arrived, raffle tickets in hand and smiles at the door. We also raffled off prizes throughout the evening 🎁.

Two brothers showed up early to help set up (👏🏾), and our women showed up engaged and ready.

Dr. Mattina challenged us on sleep and how exhaustion alters communication, emotional regulation, and decision-making.

Bedtime scrolling may seem small — but it shows up in how we respond to each other.

From there, we discussed: • Emotional intelligence
• Male & female perception differences
• Why women ask questions
• Why family history matters
• Emotional intimacy (not sexual intimacy)
• The importance
of friendship before pursuit

The highlight?
Men saying they value safe, honest, vulnerable conversations in coed spaces.

That matters.

Some of the best conversations happen around the table.

Every 3rd Tuesday we gather as unmarried believers for a relaxed evening of food, Scripture, and honest conversation about real life and real faith.

Each month we vote on a food theme and everyone brings a dish potluck-style — so every gathering feels a little different and a lot like home.

This isn’t a lecture.
It’s not a dating event.
It’s community.

A place to grow spiritually, ask questions freely, and walk through this season of life with people who get it.
