We may still be in the depths of winter, but summer is coming, and with it: The Summerland Festival! We hope you'll save the date for this year's festival — Aug 13-16, back at Camp Clifton in western Ohio!

What's more, we hope you'll consider sending in a proposal for a workshop on this year's theme, Offerings & Oracles — Call for Presenters is open through April 1.

Today is the autumnal equinox, when the day and the night are of equal length, briefly balanced before we lean toward the winter and the holy dark. In our celebration last week, we gave offerings to all the spirits and especially to Teutates, the god of the tribe, our grove patron and the honored deity of this rite.

In return, the spirits reminded us to pay special attention to the marginalized, especially the trans community; to hold to our values of love and kindness and share them with the world; and to know that we each are valued, that we are the hands and the voices of the godden in our world.

Bright at your center, may you know the goodness of the spirits and their gifts, and may your equinox be filled with many blessings: may you both know and be the good there is in the world.

Blessed solstice to you! This morning members and guests of Three Cranes Grove gathered at the Chadwick Arboretum labyrinth for our traditional dawn solstice rite welcoming in the sun on the longest day of the year.

It's June! Pride's this weekend, and in just a couple weeks it'll be time for Community Festival! Join us in Goodale Park to celebrate the summer solstice as we honor the Zori, the Slavic goddesses of dawn and dusk who keep the palace of the Sun. We revel in their riotously beautiful colors at sunrise and sunset, we see their afterimages throughout the day in the shimmering warble of sunlight and shadow, and we know they will bless and protect us, all of us, in all our multi-faceted diversity.

Save the date for the Summerland Festival: Under the Sheltering Branches! Summerland returns to Camp Clifton this August 14-17, 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited.

This year, our theme is “Under the Sheltering Branches,” and we look forward to sharing wisdom from the many wide-reaching branches of our pagan tree. Have knowledge to share? (We know you do.) We’re accepting proposals for festival presentations through May 20th, and we’d love to hear from you.
