What does biblical commitment look like?

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3

🔥 SURRENDER YOUR WILL.

Stop insisting on your own way and give God the authority to redirect your plans. True surrender means trusting His wisdom over our preferences and choosing His will over our own.

🔥 TAKE THE NEXT STEP.

Faith means moving forward in obedience, even when we can’t see the whole picture.

🔥 TRUST HIS DIRECTION.

When we commit our work, our families, and our future to God, we can trust Him to guide our steps and shape our plans according to His purposes.

🙏 OUR PRAYER:

Lord, we surrender our plans, our desires, and our future to You. Help us trust Your wisdom, follow Your direction, and choose Your will above our own. Use our lives for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Missions

Gracious Father,

We thank You for Your heart for the nations and for the call to make disciples of all people.

Empower our Free Methodist World Missions efforts through the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Strengthen our missionaries, equip national leaders, open doors for the Gospel, and raise up disciples who make disciples. May we be made holy in love, united in purpose, and faithful in proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

Send us, Lord, and let Your kingdom come.

In the name of Jesus, Amen

Hebrews 6:10 reminds us that God sees every act of love and every effort we make to serve others. As the Ohio Free Methodist Conference, how do we become people who make a lasting difference?

🔥 LOVE GOD DEEPLY. Our service flows from our relationship with Jesus. As we grow in Him, His love shapes how we lead, serve, and care for others.

🔥 SEE PEOPLE THROUGH GOD’S EYES. Helping others begins when we look beyond ourselves and recognize the needs, burdens, and God-given potential of those around us.

🔥 SERVE FAITHFULLY. Don’t wait for the perfect opportunity. Use what God has entrusted to us to meet real needs, strengthen local churches, and reach our communities with the love of Jesus.

🙏 OUR PRAYER: Lord, grow Your love in us, open our eyes to the needs around us, and help us serve faithfully. May our churches and ministries reflect Your heart and make an eternal difference across Ohio and beyond. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
