Some people serve loudly. Others serve faithfully behind the scenes. Steve Boggs does both - and he does it with a smile!

You can always count on Steve to welcome you with a friendly hello, jump in wherever there’s a need, and faithfully use his gifts to serve the church. He leads our church finance team, leads a Sunday morning Connect Group, and often shares readings during our special services.

But Steve’s impact goes beyond the things you see. His faithful leadership, willingness to serve, and heart for discipleship and people are making a lasting Kingdom difference.

Steve, thank you for saying YES to serving and for faithfully investing in C1Naz! We are so grateful for you and all you do!

David: The Life of a King

As we close out our David: The Life of a King series, we’re reminded that David’s story was never just about David. It was always pointing us to Jesus.

God made a promise to David that his throne would be established forever. Solomon was part of the fulfillment, but Solomon’s kingdom eventually ended. So did God’s promise fail?
No. God’s promises never fail.

There has only ever been One who could completely fulfill that promise - Jesus, the Son of David. His throne is forever. His reign will never come to an end. And in Him, we have the promise of eternal life.

David’s life points us to a God who is faithful, who keeps His promises, and who is not finished with us yet.

“Could this be the Son of David?” - Matthew 12:23

As we look back on David’s life, may we look forward to Jesus and remember just how much God has already given us.

SERVE SPOTLIGHT: SUSAN SUITS!

Susan serves wherever there’s a need! 🙌 She faithfully serves on our Worship Team, Tech Team, C1Ladies Council, and as a Sunday School teacher in C1Kidz. She also spent a week this summer volunteering at our SWID Kids Camp - loving on all the kids and stepping in to serve where needed. But her heart to serve doesn’t stop there! You can also find her helping set up and tear down events, cooking, serving food, and jumping in wherever she’s needed.

What makes Susan’s service so special is that she doesn’t just serve - she serves with joy! Her willingness, generosity, and heart for others are a beautiful reflection of Jesus.

Thank you, Susan, for all the ways you serve and for the Kingdom impact you’re making at C1Naz! We are so thankful for you!

What if the greatest thing you build isn’t for you - it’s for the generations that come after you?

As we continue through David: Life of a King, we’re reminded that David’s story wasn’t just about what he accomplished in his lifetime. His faithfulness helped prepare the way for Solomon and the generations that followed.

In 2 Chronicles 22:5-16, we see a powerful picture of what it means to leave a Kingdom Legacy. David had a vision bigger than himself. He made sacrifices, gathered resources, and prepared for something he would never personally see completed…the temple that Solomon would build.

“Give it back better than you got it.” That’s the challenge for us, too.

What has God placed in your hands? How can you use it to invest in the next generation and advance His Kingdom - even if you never get to see the full impact?

A Kingdom legacy is built through selfless vision, personal sacrifice, lasting commitment, and a generational perspective.
