That calling challenges us to live differently, not simply talk differently.

Before asking why someone else hasn't changed, consider what your example has been teaching them.

Your circumstances may need to change, but your peace doesn't have to wait until everyone around you changes.

Examine what you're allowing to influence your perspective.
Romans 12:2 speaks of being transformed by the renewing of our minds.
You don't have to agree with everything your mind suggests.

Philippians 1:10 tells us to approve the things that are excellent.
Yet sometimes we recognize wrongdoing, ungodliness, or improper behavior within our marriages and relationships, but choose not to address it.

There's a difference between extending grace to someone and allowing destructive behavior to continue without accountability.
Tolerance is not always a virtue. Sometimes it's a refusal to take a stand.
We can address wrongdoing without being hostile, but we must be willing to stand for what's right.

We live in a world that constantly tells us to follow our feelings. But should we?
Paul said in Romans 7:18, "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing."
When your desires are directed toward God, you become less controlled by what your flesh demands.
