The Youth Group enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Lohstroh Family Farm. The huge variety of pumpkin sizes and colors reminded us of God’s creativity and love of diversity. 🎃

This week, Pastor Casey invites us to move from closed fists to open hands and hearts, recognizing the gifts we receive each day.

Two simple practices to try this week:

Each day, identify 1–3 gifts you’ve received—a meal, a helping hand, a moment of rest, or a meaningful conversation.
💌 Thank someone😍
Share your appreciation with a text, a note, a kind word, or a phone call.

♥️Open your hands and heart to receive God’s gifts, and receive gratitude gracioulsy!

🙌 New Sermon Series Begins Sunday at 9 AM or 10:30 AM

Open Hands: 🤲 Living the Generous Life is our new sermon series, exploring how God’s generosity shapes the way we receive, release, follow, surrender, and reach out. Through Scripture, worship, and sharing, we will discover that generosity is more than giving money—it is a way of living rooted in gratitude and trust. 💜

Join Pastor Casey Wilson as we kick off the series, with special music by the NB Handbell Choir. 🛎️🎶

Michele and Nick Speelman collected 326 jars of peanut butter in honor of their 7 year wedding anniversary. They were collecting one ounce of peanut butter for each day they have been married. They far exceeded their goal of 159 16 oz. jars. All of the peanut butter collected will go to the NBUMC Backpack 🎒 Ministry for Columbus City Schools students serving 206 students each week.

🔥 As Pastor Amy Aspey concludes our Holy Spirit sermon series, she invites us to prayerfully ponder the image of fire.
🕯️ Light a candle. Talk with God about what in your life needs refining. What needs to be burned away so you can be made more holy in love?
🙏 This week: As you take your first breath each morning, ask for the Holy Spirit’s help and pause to pray:
“Come, Holy Spirit, come.”
May we be open to how the Spirit nudges, guides, and refines us each day.

This Sunday, we conclude our “Holy Spirit” series. Pastor Amy Aspey will offer a message about the Holy Spirit in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. We will reflect on Luke 3:15-17, 21-22 and ponder the Holy Spirit’s power in baptism and on-going transformation.

Pastor Amy Aspey is the lead pastor at Short North Church, which is our sister campus at 25 W. 5th Ave.
