The Church Next Door

The Church Next Door Moving People Closer to God The Church Next Door was started in 1955 by a small group of people with a common vision to start a church for young families.
(256)

Over the years, the church has grown and reached many across central Ohio. Throughout the years we have remained committed to a desire to experience God more fully in our lives, the belief that a relationship with Jesus Christ is transforming, a commitment to children and young people, and a desire to be a valuable participant in our community.

☀️ The Summer Shift starts THIS WEEKEND! ☀️

A new season begins at The Church Next Door, and we can’t wait to step into it together.

Beginning this weekend, join us for our new service times:

📍 Saturday at 5:00 PM
📍 Sunday at 10:00 AM

This summer, we’re entering a season of prayer, focus, and preparation—believing God is leading us into something special and preparing us for what’s ahead.

And don’t forget… it’s Father’s Day weekend! 🎉
We’ll be celebrating all the dads and father figures in our lives, so bring your family and make it a special weekend together.

Set your reminders, invite someone to join you, and we’ll see you this weekend!

The lies we believe are loud… but the truth of God is louder.

When you feel like you’ve failed, God says, “My grace is sufficient for you.”
When you think it’s too late, God reminds you, “I’m still working.”
When you feel behind, He says, “My timing is perfect.”
When you’re weary, He invites you, “Come to Me, and I will give you rest.”
And when you feel forgotten, He promises, “I am with you always.”

No matter what you’re facing, God’s truth has the final word.

Join us this weekend at The Church Next Door as we continue in The Summer Shift and lean into what God is speaking in this season.

What a weekend at The Church Next Door! 🙌

We celebrated life change through baptism, remembered Christ's sacrifice together during communion, and enjoyed great food and even better fellowship at our Patio Picnic. There's something special about gathering as a church family and seeing God at work in the lives of people.

We also shared an exciting update about the future of our church as we enter a new season. Beginning June 20–21, our weekend service times will be:

📍 Saturdays at 5:00 PM
📍 Sundays at 10:00 AM

As we step into this Summer Shift together, we're looking forward to a season of prayer, vision, and expectation for all God has ahead.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and we can't wait to see you again next week!

What a powerful weekend at The Church Next Door!

We were honored to welcome guest speaker Scott Kelso as he challenged and encouraged us to become true Keepers of the Flame—people who faithfully carry the fire of God's presence, truth, and purpose into every area of life.

From heartfelt worship to a timely message, God moved in a powerful way throughout the weekend. We're grateful for everyone who joined us and can't wait to see how the seeds planted this weekend continue to grow in the days ahead.

🔥 Keep the flame burning.
🔥 Stay faithful.
🔥 Keep pursuing Jesus.

This Pentecost, we’re gathering to seek the fire and presence of God together.

God never intended His people to live spiritually cold, distracted, or powerless. Throughout Scripture, fire represents His presence, His power, His holiness, and His refining work in our lives.

This weekend, Pastor Scott Kelso will share a powerful message about keeping the fire of God burning in our hearts and living fully surrendered to Him.

🙏 Come hungry for more of God.
🔥 Come ready to be renewed.
🕊 Come expectant for Pentecost.

God’s commands aren’t meant to keep you from something good—they lead you to what’s best. ✨🙏

In the First Epistle of John, chapter 5, we’re reminded that loving God means trusting His ways and following His commands. 📖

God’s direction is not burdensome—it’s protection, freedom, and life. ❤️

There’s more happening around us than what we can see. 👀✨

God has a purpose for your life, and there is a very real spiritual world at work. That’s why we must stay spiritually aware—grounded in God’s Word, sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and discerning of what’s happening around us. 🙏📖

Not everything is just physical. Stay alert. Stay prayerful. Stay close to Jesus. 🔥

Jesus reminds us that faith isn’t something we borrow or treat casually. We’re called to own it. God provides the strength, wisdom, and direction—but we must choose to live it out daily. 🙏

Luke 12 challenges us to watch out for hypocrisy, not be consumed by wealth or worry, and stay ready instead of waiting passively. Every day is God’s day—live it for Him. ✨
