When God highlights something in Scripture or speaks to your heart, one of the most important questions we can ask is:

**“Lord, is this for me—or is this for others?”**

Sometimes our first instinct is to hear something and immediately think, *“Oh, this would be really good for someone else.”*

But part of growing in discernment is learning to pause and ask God what He wants to do in **us** first.

Is He revealing something you need to receive, obey, or surrender?
Or is He giving you something that may also be meant to encourage, strengthen, or speak into the life of someone else?

Before we rush to apply God’s Word to others, may we first have hearts that are willing to let Him speak to us.

Two years ago, Jen was carrying overwhelming pain and struggling to see the beauty God had placed within her.

Through Soul Care, she began recognizing harmful patterns, confronting the lies she believed, and surrendering deeper places of her heart to God. The journey was not always easy, but through confession, repentance, prayer, and the patient work of God, she began experiencing genuine freedom.

As Jen shares, Soul Care does not mean that old struggles will never resurface. It gives us tools to recognize them, bring them before God, and continue walking toward healing and transformation.

Join us for the Soul Care Conference, October 1–3, and create space for God to work beneath the surface of your life.

The goal was never for all of us to look the same.

In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul describes the Church as a body—different parts, different functions, but all belonging to one another. Our differences aren’t a problem to solve; they’re part of how God designed the body to work.

Unity is not the same thing as uniformity.

You don’t have to become someone else to belong. Bring what God has given you—and make room for what He has given others.

You’re not just important to the body of Christ. You’re indispensable.

It’s easy to compare gifts and assume some matter more than others. But 1 Corinthians 12 gives us a different picture: God has intentionally formed His Church so that every part is needed.

Your gift matters. Your presence matters. And the body is stronger when each of us brings what God has entrusted to us.

You are impossible to do without.

Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo project.

In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul reminds us that the Church is one body made up of many different parts. God has intentionally placed each of us within that body—not to compete, compare, or become copies of one another, but to bring what He has given us and learn to depend on what He has given others.

You are needed. The people around you are needed. And when every part shows up in love, the body becomes more fully what God designed it to be.

We were made to do this together.

You aren’t an accidental part of the body.

God has intentionally placed each of us within His Church—with different gifts, perspectives, strengths, and ways to contribute. The goal isn’t for all of us to look the same. It’s for every part to bring what God has given them so that, together, the body can become what He designed it to be.

Your place matters. And so does the person beside you.

What would it look like to be a vessel of God’s love this week? ❤️

Maybe it looks like choosing patience, leading with kindness, protecting instead of tearing down, forgiving instead of keeping score, and rejoicing in what is true.

Love isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we practice. This week, let’s look for tangible ways to show up with the love of Jesus wherever God has placed us.

What does love look like when it’s lived out perfectly? ❤️

In Jesus, we see love that is patient and kind, rejoices in truth, holds onto hope, and keeps going through every circumstance. His love isn’t fragile, conditional, or temporary—it endures.

Join us as we look to Jesus and discover what His character teaches us about the kind of love we’re called to live out every day.
