“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.” -Jeremiah 29:11 Berean Bible
As Christians, we all make plans daily to do things in the near and distant future. At times, we do this without thinking or giving the process much thought.
We sometimes take for granted that we will live the length of time required to fulfill our plans, even if it’s just minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, even years. Sometimes, we don’t consult with God first to determine if what we are planning is in his will.
When our plans go awry, perhaps utterly fail, we may believe that we have utterly failed God and deserve the punishment of the failure.
