We are wintering.
On the surface, things may look quiet, bare, even fruitless.
But beneath the soil, holy work is happening.

Roots are stretching.
Trust is deepening.
Love is anchoring us more firmly than ever.

“The soul is like a tree rooted in God’s love; the more deeply it sinks into Him, the more it flourishes.”

This is the gift of Ordinary Time—
not flashy, not loud, not performative—
but faithful, slow, and deeply formative.

Here at Sacred Treasures, we honor these in-between seasons.
Not rushing growth.
Not forcing fruit.
Simply learning how to be—
abiding, listening, resting, receiving.

A gentle invitation for today:
Let yourself be rooted.
Let stillness do its quiet work.
Let God love you where you are.

Growth is happening—even now. 🤍

A Blessing for the New Year—

As we step into this new year,
I bless you with the gift of the slow.

May you release the pressure to hurry,
to figure it all out,
to carry what was never yours to hold.

May your body exhale.
May your soul settle.
May winter continue to teach you how to rest.

I bless you with permission—
to move at the pace of love,
to listen more than strive,
to trust what is quietly forming beneath the surface.

May you know, deeply,
that you are not behind.
Nothing essential has been missed.
God is not in a rush with you.

I bless you with a rooted knowing of your belovedness—
not because of what you do,
but because you are held.

May you notice grace in small moments,
God’s presence in the ordinary,
and holy ground in places you once overlooked.

As the year unfolds,
may your yes rise from peace,
may your no create spaciousness,
and may your life be shaped by rhythm rather than demand.

May you trust the slow work of God in you.
May you walk gently into this year—
one unhurried, grace-filled step at a time.

You are seen.
You are held.
You are deeply loved.

Amen.

Yesterday, one of our Treasures, Sirlene shared something that deeply moved me.

After reading the Advent emails I’ve been sending and listening to the video for our Sacred Treasures community, she felt encouraged to slow down—to pause and refocus in this busy season.

What stayed with her was this truth:
Our calendars are not just schedules—they are spiritual documents. 📃
They reveal what we value, how we move, and what we believe about ourselves.

As we prepare our hearts for Christmas and look ahead to 2026, this feels like a holy invitation for all of us—to choose intention over urgency, presence over pressure.

✨ Two sacred invitations: ✨

🤍 Sacred Treasures 2026
A year-long journey shaped by the rhythms of creation and the Church calendar—
Wintering. Awakening. Flourishing. Gathering.

And if you’ve been part of Treasures in the past, I want you to hear this gently:
this year is different.
Each call. Each practice. Each retreat.
So many have already named the feel of it—a truly holy setting.
It needs to be experienced.

🤍 Silent Winter Retreat
For the first time, I’m opening this beyond the Treasures community.
A gift of space. Silence. Listening. Rest.
Limited availability—and unlike anything else offered at this price. I’d love to have you.

I know the ebb and flow of life.
And still, I feel compelled to say: this year matters.

You are welcome here.
More details in the link in bio or message me for more.

Praying peace, clarity, and joy over you. 💗

Today I stood at the shoreline and wrote Waves of Grace in the sand — fitting words for what my heart has been holding. There is such tenderness and holy anticipation in me for the days ahead. Every year, this retreat is one of the sweetest highlights of my life… a few set-apart days with His Sacred Treasures — you.

We come as we are.
We slow down.
We breathe again.
We remember that we are the beloved.

And somehow, every time, the Lord meets us in the most gentle, healing ways — ways we could never plan or manufacture. Just grace. Just presence. Just God being God.

If your heart has been longing for rest…
if you feel the pull toward quiet…
if you are sensing a deeper invitation into Love…

You may want to consider joining us in 2026.
We’ll be exploring what it means to live in rhythm with the ancient church calendar, and the sacred practices of silence, solitude, slowing, and receiving the Love of God in ways we may have never experienced before.

We will begin together at the start of Advent, the beginning of the church year — a tender season of waiting, expectancy, and light slowly returning.

If you’d like to hear more, message me.
I’d love to send you the date for a Zoom call and share the heart behind it.

Until then — may grace wash over you like the tide, again and again and again. 🤍
Waves of Grace.

Breath Prayers for the Season of Shedding 🍂

In Sacred Treasures, we’ve been practicing slowing down and paying attention to the rhythms of the season — noticing how creation teaches us to release what no longer serves and to stay rooted in what gives life.

Just as the trees let go of their leaves, we’re invited to let go too — of cluttered thoughts, striving, and the need to hold everything together.

Take a few slow breaths with me…

🌿 Inhale: Unclutter my soul
🌿 Exhale: Set me free in You

🍁 Inhale: Empty me of striving
🍁 Exhale: Fill me with peace

🕊️ Inhale: Into Your hands, Lord
🕊️ Exhale: I release all things

May these simple breath prayers draw you into stillness — a reminder that freedom often comes through release, and peace is found in resting in God’s gentle rhythm of letting go.

Henri Nouwen wrote,🌿 “Nature is not the background to our lives; it is a living gift
that teaches us about the ways and will of the Creator.”
Our difficult and now urgent task is to realize that nature is not a possession to be conquered but a gift to be received with respect and gratitude.
All of nature conceals great secrets that cannot be revealed if we do not listen carefully and patiently to God’s hidden language.

Slow Down.
Look.
See.
Hear.
Notice.
What does He want for you.
To notice.
To see.
To hear.
God is so kind and patient. He is also so full of wonder and awe.
All of creation praises Him.

☀️ June Blessing ☀️

You are not behind.
You are not lost.
You are not failing at the rhythms of life.

You are becoming.
You are being formed.
You are deeply loved.

This is your gentle reminder to return—again and again—to the rhythm of grace, the breath of peace, and the pulse of love that sustains you.

Let June be a month of release, return, and renewal.
You are right where you need to be. 🌿

A simple yet profound reminder that each moment we are given is an opportunity to love, serve, and bring light into the world. May we not delay in offering kindness, extending grace, and living with purpose.

Hygge is more than cozy blankets, warm, tasty coffee, and nature walks.
There’s no blanket big enough to cover deep
soul ache. There’s not a walk in nature long enough to change a life for the long haul.
Jesus at the center of it all.

Sometimes disappointments set in because we were expecting a certain harvest from particular seeds sown in a season that was for planting and not for gathering. I know, personally, I have experienced deep disappointment. I’ve come to learn to gather hope, forgiveness, love, peace, joy, long-suffering, kindness, and the like in every season. I’m in a season of believing for a miracle—a real, tangible, only-God-kind-of miracle. And yet, I’ve come to understand that EVEN IF…I’ll gather up all heaven and the Spirit of God has placed within me.

We are NEVER without hope.
What are you gathering today?
What seeds are in the ground on your life?

What a beautiful truth!
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.” Psalm 125:5
Our pain, discomfort, sorrow, is not in vain. Sow it in God and a harvest of joy, peace and the like will come forth in due time.

Welcome to November! 🤍
This month in our Treasures community we are exploring Harvest and how a season of gathering may be different than what we think. I’m honored to journey with seekers of Gods goodness, truth and beauty.
