LSS Thankfull Holiday Bag Drive

St. Luke will be participating in the Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Thankfull Holiday Bag Drive again this year to help make the Thanksgiving holiday a little brighter for those in need. Our goal is for members collectively to fill and donate at least 100 bags containing the 14 items on the list (the same list of items as we used last year). Blue cloth bags containing a list of the 14 items required will be available for pick up at the church Welcome Centers now. After you shop and purchase the 14 items and fill the blue bag with the purchased items, please place all filled blue bags in the wooden LSS donation box in the narthex. The last day to donate a filled blue bag is on Sunday, November 8.

If you prefer not to shop, financial donations may be made by writing a check made payable to the order of Lutheran Social Services with "Food Pantry" in the memo line and mailing it to Lutheran Social Services, 1106 Schrock Road, Ste. 100, Columbus, OH 43229. You may also contribute online to support the LSS Food Pantry by using this link: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/congregation/ and using the drop down that can be selected specifically for the Food Pantry. Alternatively, donations of peanut butter, canned tuna or canned chicken are always needed and welcomed. Thanks in advance for any support you can offer.

What Is Alpha? Come Experience It.
Sunday, November 1 • 12:00 p.m. • St. Luke Lutheran Church

For the past several years, St. Luke has offered Alpha as a place where people can explore the Christian faith, ask honest questions, build relationships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.

Taste of Alpha is a one-session experience that gives you a feel for what Alpha is like and why so many people have found belonging, purpose, and community through it.

As we seek to unleash God’s love and connect people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, Alpha is one of the ways we create space for people to explore faith and take a next step.

No pressure. No judgment. No charge.

Come experience Alpha for yourself, or bring a friend, family member, or co-worker. Come and see what Alpha is all about! Please RSVP in church center. https://stlukecolumbus.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3944504
