New Beginnings Christian Empowerment Center Where Outreach Means Inreach! They are all looking for a person to speak truth and impart divine wisdom into their lives.

There is a world of hurting people, completely lacking of the love of God and are simply waiting for a person to lead them to the loving arms of Jesus. Wisdom and truth through which their hearts are renewed, their hope is revived, and their vision is restored. This ministry will serve as a catalyst for all to become one of God’s children.

Please stop! Your time is not God's time!!! Don't move to fast and dismiss people from your life because they did not respond the way you desired, they didn't perform how you desired them to perform, or show up when you wanted them too! It doesn't mean they missed God or you, perhaps they were not suppose to be in that particular moment of your life because they didn't believe the lie you were trying to live or the scene you were trying to act out. REAL PEOPLE respond to REAL PEOPLE!! Being authentic means being able to say NO even when it doesn't please the majority!

New Beginnings Christian Empowerment Center held its first church fundraiser on yesterday with GREAT SUCCESS! Thanks to 2 1/2 BAJANS RESTAURANT owners Adonna Hamblin and Paul Murrell Sr. for hosting and catering the event!!! You have been such a wonderful blessing to us! We could not do what we do without you! Thanks to everyone who came out in support of New Beginnings and 21/2 Bajans! Special thanks to Wanda Alston-Singleton who was our very FIRST CUSTOMER! Her sister Patricia Alston Archie and her family, The greatest God parents in the world Kathy Broughton DeCosta and Jaime DeCosta, To our babygirl Nakeila Murrell for making those calls and sending out those texts, close friends and great supporters Bishop (D) Chris and Lady Sylvia Braggs, The FYE Crew, Our main man Jorge Dacosta who stopped by to eat and chat, My best cuz, sister, and friend Marlo Glenn-Cohen who skipped eating the repast to eat with us, To Margaret Timothy and Latenya Jones who attempted to call in their orders...sorry we missed you but we'll make it up to you next week! If I missed anyone charge it to the head not the heart. Most of all thanks to all our new customers who were willing to take a chance on 21/2 Bajans and thus were a blessing to New Beginnings! Thank you for the wonderful comments on the food. 21/2 Bajan's looks forward to serving you in the very near future.

New Beginnings is preparing for her new beginning! We are currently purchasing audio/visual equipment for the sanctuary! I am attaching a list of the required items needed to meet this miestone. If you can help please inbox me. We are working with Michael McCoy of A.G.O.H. Productions, LLC to accomplish this task and we want to thank him for his time and consideration. We also want to thank the members who have always and continue to give so that we may be the hand that God uses to renew hearts, revive hope, and restore vision!

Often times God places us in others lives to be a blessing but because they don't understand this they mistake the blessing of God for a resource. Well when the resource dies off or is replaced they begin to cry for what they once had. They mistook you for the server and you fulfilled any other role they didn't want to play for fear of getting dirty! These individuals because they didn't understand that the individual was a blessing at that particular time only tolerated the individual. While they were tolerating God was celebrating the individual! Well, my celebration has begun and those fakeful friends who have only tolerated me because you didn't see what was "special" about me have been dismissed! God has surrounded me with those who can see, want to advance, and appreciate who I am in Christ! The invitations have been delivered and the celebration has begun!...were you invited? My fakeful friends, you know your names, I am sorry, I ran out of invites! But thank you for all you have done for me to get me to the place where I am now. I couldn't have made it without you!!
