We are thankful for the churches that have partnered with us to provide meals as we are open nightly to provide shelter from the cold for those living without homes or heat during the extreme cold temps we will be facing over the Christmas holiday weekend. Thank you to Britt David Baptist Church, Fountain City Church, Rose Hill Memorial Baptist Church, and Potter's House Church- for helping us love our guests by being the hands and feet of Jesus. UPDATE: We have extended our opening dates to include Monday 12/26.

Our church doors will be open at The Fort Church at Eastern Heights to those in our community who are without shelter or heat Thursday thru Sunday nights (12/22-12/25). Come sleep in the safety and comfort of our warm church building. You will be provided a meal, shower, fresh clothing, a warm bed, transportation, and lots of love from our volunteers.

Pick up will start between 4:30 – 5:00 PM at the following locations:

Salvation Army Thrift Store Parking Lot @ Manchester Expwy and River Rd
The Water Park across from Amos B. Cancer Center
The Homeless Resource Network
Country’s BBQ on Broadway near the bridge.

If you or your church, ministry, organization, or family would like to partner with us in providing quality comfort for guests of our 28 and Below ministry to those experiencing homelessness in our community, you can volunteer to sponsor a meal for one of the nights we are open. Message us for more information.

28 and Below provides overnight shelter for those living without homes or heat on the coldest nights of the year. We open the doors of our church for individuals to rest in the warmth and comfort of our church building while providing them with a good meal, hot shower, warm bed, clean clothing, and lots of love.
