More than 20 local organizations (CRC, Whetstone Library, Columbus Police, Clintonville Area Commission, NCIL, etc) and many local businesses will be on hand to mix and mingle with neighbors. Refreshments, gifts and door prizes will also be available. Neighbor Night is a great place to learn more about what the Clintonville Neighborhood has to offer. All are welcome. We have an history emergency. The Columbus Canoe Club Clubhouse (318 Orchard Lane) is at risk of demolition. We need historical society members to attend the CAC Zoing meeting-tomorrow-7 pm at the Clinton Heights Church and/or the CAC meeting next Thursday-7 pm at Whetstone Library.

The Columbus Canoe Club originally operated at Olentangy Park. In 1914, the Club purchased land along the Olentangy River and in 1916 they dedicated their Clubhouse. Over 200 people attended the dedication ceremony. Over the years, the Clubhouse was used by the Club as well as other local organizations. The Club hosted boating and tennis events. The building has been featured in numerous newspaper and magazine articles. We need to work to save all or part of this historical gem! Please plan to attend one or both meetings. TONIGHTS MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. WE STILL NEED YOUR ATTENDANCE NEXT THURSDAY AT THE CAC MEETING.

Come see us at the Whetstone Library-this Saturday!
