“Why are daycares celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week? They aren’t real teachers.”

Childcare workers are absolutely teachers, and they deserve to be celebrated during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Every single day, they are teaching children some of the most important lessons in life.

They teach kids how to share, how to be kind, and how to express their feelings.

They help little ones learn their ABCs, how to count, and even how to hold a pencil or crayon. These are the building blocks of education.

Childcare workers also teach through love and patience.

They create safe spaces where children feel cared for and supported, which is essential for learning.

They guide children through challenges, help them solve problems, and encourage them to explore the world around them.

These are all forms of teaching, even if it doesn’t look like a traditional classroom.

Without childcare workers, many children wouldn’t have the foundation they need to succeed in school and in life.

Their work is just as valuable as any other teacher’s, and they absolutely deserve to be celebrated for the incredible impact they have on young lives.

Today we celebrate Stacy Greathouse; celebrating 25 years of love, laughter and dedication! You're so much more than a co-worker - YOU'RE FAMILY! The countless lives you've touched, the hearts you've shaped, and the joy you've brought to every classroom are beyond measure. You've given your heart to this work, and it shows in every smile, every hug, and every child (and co-worker!) lucky enough to know you. Congratulations on this AMAZING milestone - 25 years of making the world brighter, one child at a time. I am so proud and blessed to have worked beside you all these years but even prouder to call you a friend! 💛

To the amazing teachers I get to work alongside every day – I just want to take a moment to say how incredibly lucky we are to have you.
Every single day, you bring patience, creativity, laughter and so much love into our classrooms (even on the wildest days). You are there for the scraped knees, the BIG feelings, the milestones, all the messes, and you always show up with love – even when your own plate is full.
You make this place feel like family, not just for the little ones, but for all of us who work here too. The bonds you build, the lessons you teach, and the kindness you show make such a difference. I see it, the families see it, and most importantly, the children FEEL it.
Just wanted to say thank you! I don’t take a single one of you for granted. You’re the heart and soul of this place, and I am so blessed to be in it with you. ❤️
