There is a statement on our currency that reads, "In God We Trust." It is a bold and powerful statement about our intent. But, does it accurately represent our belief? Everything rises and falls with trust, and there are no shortcuts with it. It's a journey, not an event. Human trust is fragile because people break promises, leaders disappoint, and humans are prone to fail. But God never does. Trust often fails on earth but never in heaven.
