We are so thankful for Joe Slaughter, TRE, for sharing a meaningful message with us on Trinity Sunday!

Joe reminded us that while the mystery of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—may be beyond our full understanding, it is a truth we embrace by faith. He beautifully walked us through how the Holy Spirit has been present from the very beginning of creation and continues to be active in our lives today.

His message emphasized that the Holy Spirit is not just a distant force, but a personal presence—our advocate, teacher, and guide—who equips us with spiritual gifts, dwells within us, and empowers us to live out our faith each day.

We were also reminded that the Holy Spirit is given to all who believe, marking us as God’s own and calling us to reflect His love through the fruit of the Spirit in our daily lives.

If you missed it, or would like to hear it again, be sure to check out the full sermon here: https://youtu.be/4HkeFEzjD6Q

Thank you again, Joe, for helping us grow in our understanding and walk with God!

We extend a warm welcome as we gather in worship and fellowship, and we are especially grateful to have Joe Slaughter, Tre, bringing the message to the pulpit this morning.

Wherever you are joining from, may you feel the presence of God, the peace of Christ, and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit as we worship together.

Let us now prepare our hearts for worship.

Welcome to Edgewood Presbyterian Church Livestream

Good morning, and welcome to the livestream of Edgewood Presbyterian Church. We are grateful that you have joined us for worship today, whether you are watching from home, traveling, or joining us for the first time. May this time together be a blessing as we gather in faith, prayer, and praise.

Today, we are pleased to welcome Susan Gilbert to the pulpit. Her sermon, “Wind, Fire, and the Spirit of God,” is based on Acts 2:1–21, the powerful Pentecost story that reminds us of God's presence moving among us through the Holy Spirit—bringing new life, courage, and hope to all people.

As we worship together, may our hearts be open to hear God's Word and to experience the renewing power of the Spirit in our lives.

Thank you for joining us. Let us prepare our hearts for worship.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. Acts 2:17–18
