Official Statement from New Revival Christian Center Church

It is with profound sorrow, yet unwavering hope in the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ, that the New Revival Christian Center Church family announces the transition of our beloved Pastor Emeritus James Richard Herring, Sr., who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Pastor Herring faithfully served the Kingdom of God with wisdom, humility, and unwavering devotion. His life and ministry have left an indelible mark on countless lives, and his legacy of faith will continue to inspire generations.

We ask our church family, friends, and the community to continue lifting Mrs. Herring, his sons, grandchildren, the entire Herring family, and all who were blessed by his life and ministry in your prayers. May God’s peace and comforting presence sustain them during this season of bereavement.
