While the whole church gathers for Midweek, your kids have a place of their own to learn, grow, ask questions, and have fun. Trinity Kids gives them space to slow down and dig into God’s Word through small-group discussion and hands-on activities.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to get a Sunday morning service on the screens, through the speakers, and online for those watching from home? That's the work of our Media and Tech team, and this week we want to shine a light on them.

Led by David Luck, this team handles everything behind the scenes, from sound and lighting to slides, livestream, and graphics, so that every service runs smoothly and the focus can stay right where it belongs, on worship.

It's a team that serves quietly but makes a big difference. Long before most people arrive on Sunday, they're already checking cables, dialing in sound levels, and running through cues, all with a servant's heart and a love for doing things well.

This Sunday we handed the pulpit over to someone who has poured her heart into our students. Brandi Luck, our Trinity Students leader, brought us the story of Mephibosheth: a boy who lost his father, his home, and the use of his own feet in a single afternoon, and spent years hiding away in a place called Lo Debar, a name that literally means barren.

But King David never forgot the promise he had made to Mephibosheth's father. He sent for him, pulled him out of hiding, and gave him a permanent seat at the king's table, scars and all. That is not just a story about an ancient prince. It is a picture of what God does for every one of us.

Nothing about your past, present, or future decreases your value in your Father the King's eyes.

This past Sunday was Youth Sunday, and we were blessed to have our Next Gen Pastor, Brandi Luck, bring the message in Pastor Josh's place.

Brandi preached from 2 Samuel 9 on the story of Mephibosheth, a man who assumed he had nothing left to offer and no right to a place at the king's table. In "A Place at the Table," she unpacked the Hebrew idea of hesed, God's unconditional, unearned kindness, and challenged us to think about who around us might be waiting for someone to make room for them.

What a sweet Sunday this was at Trinity! Our worship team led us into some honest, intimate worship right from the first song, and you could feel the room lean in to the presence of God together. Pastor Josh continued our walk through the book of Ruth, looking at how she showed up to glean just enough to survive and found so much more waiting for her in Boaz's field.

But honestly, some of our favorite moments happened off the stage. Trinity Kids had a great morning together, the lobby was full of laughter and catching up before and after the service, and plenty of you stayed around just to pray with and check in on each other. That's the heartbeat of this church family, and we love getting to see it every week.

Ruth went into Boaz's field that morning looking for one thing: enough grain to keep two widows alive. She wasn't looking for a husband. She wasn't looking for a future. She was just trying to survive.

But provision has a way of becoming pursuit. What started as a handful of grain in someone else's field turned into an invitation into someone else's family. That's not just a coincidence, that's how God works, and it's the same story He's been writing with His people all along.

Throughout Scripture, God describes His relationship with us in the language of a husband.

Isaiah 54:5 NKJV
"For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth."

You can come to Him the way Ruth came to that field, hungry and just looking for relief, and He will meet you there every time. But don't settle for a handout when He wants to be your husband.

Trinity Students meet every Wednesday at 6:30 PM, and Pastor Brandi Luck has kicked off a new series to help students become more confident and familiar with God’s Word. Students, bring your own physical Bible, not just the app, and get ready to learn your way around it together.

Wednesday nights look a little different around here, and we love that.

Our Midweek Bible Study meets every Wednesday at 6:30 PM, led by Pastor Josh Garner. It's a smaller, more conversational setting built around group based scripture teaching and open discussion, a great place to dig deeper into God's Word alongside people who want to do life together.

We're currently in the middle of our Powerful Prayers series, digging into what it looks like to pray with real faith and real expectation. If you've been wanting to get more consistent in your walk with God, this is a great series to jump into.
