As part of our Summer in the Psalms series, we invite you to engage with the psalms in a way that is meaningful to you. This could be reading a psalm aloud, writing your own psalm, drawing, journaling, etc. One of our creative church members regularly makes greeting cards. Inspired by Psalm 1, she created these beautiful cards to bless others.

What a fun week of VBS! All are invited to our celebration Friday night at 6pm. You'll get to hear kids sing songs, tell us what they learned in Bible time, and find out how much support we raised for our mission project. We'll end with ice cream sundaes!

Grab the family and come join us tonight at the Splash Party from 6:00-7:30pm. It's loads of fun with water slides and various water activities for kids to participate in. Bring towels, drinks and your own seating. The event is geared for 1st grade and under, but everyone is welcome to participate. Preschool and under must be accompanied by a teen/adult to go down the big water slides.

Location: CCC at the point on South lawn.

VBS Day 2! Today our kids are learning that the Lord is our Shepherd- He takes us from fearful to peaceful!

Every day, voices compete for our attention.

Some shape us toward God.
Others shape us away from Him.

Psalm 1 reminds us that the path of the fool begins with a way of thinking. What shapes our thinking eventually shapes our behavior, and what shapes our behavior eventually shapes our identity and belonging.

The fool says there is a better life apart from God.

But God says otherwise.

The person who delights in the Word of God is like a tree firmly planted by streams of water. Rooted. Nourished. Stable. Fruitful.

The fool looks at dependence on God and sees weakness.

The psalmist looks at dependence on God and sees the source of life.

The question is not whether we are being shaped.

The question is who is influencing us, and how are we influencing others.
Use your influence to bring glory to God and to point people to the path of the LORD!
