Unpopular opinion: The Jesus most people are following isn't actually Jesus. 👀

He's the Jesus of their upbringing. Their politics. Their culture. Their worst church experience.

The Jesus of the left. The Jesus of the right. The Jesus who conveniently agrees with everything they already believe.

And John chapter 7 says - that's not him.

The real Jesus walked into a crowd full of people who thought they had him figured out. And he refused to be defined by any of them.
