Today, members of Greater Beallwood Baptist Church had the privilege of ministering to the residents of River Towne Nursing Home. Through songs of praise, heartfelt prayers, and words of spiritual encouragement, we sought to share the love of Christ and remind each resident that they are valued, remembered, and deeply loved by God.

Ministry extends beyond the walls of the church, and today was a beautiful reminder that even a simple visit can make a lasting impact.

Our morning Bible Study group ventured out to have lunch in Cafe 3200 at Jordan High School.

Café 3200 at Jordan High School is more than a place to eat it’s a space designed for connection, culture, and career readiness.

Named after the school’s address, Café 3200 reflects a modern, college style café environment where students can gather, collaborate, and recharge throughout the day.

As part of Jordan’s College & Career Academy model, the café supports real world learning especially for students in pathways like culinary arts while creating an atmosphere that mirrors life beyond high school.

It brings us so much joy to see Marley eagerly stepping into service as a greeter alongside Mr. & Mrs. Dorsey on 1st Sundays. Through warm smiles, kind words, and a heart to serve, she is learning what it means to show God’s love in action.

When we teach our children to serve with joy, we’re planting seeds of faith, kindness, and greatness that will grow for a lifetime.

At Greater Beallwood, Sisters in Grace is our teenage girls ministry that meets once a month, with meaningful connection points and engagement opportunities throughout the month to help our young ladies grow in faith, confidence, and community.

We are excited to share that Sisters in Grace successfully completed a recent community service project in partnership with Girl Scout Troop 50387.

Together, the girls filled more than 100 bags with toiletry and hygiene items, along with handwritten messages of encouragement for students at Brewer Elementary and for the Department of Juvenile Justice Muscogee Community Service Office Caring Closet.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and make a positive impact in the lives of youth throughout our community.
