To the Apostles, Bishops, Pastors, Elders, Ministers, and Leaders of the Fresh Manna Alliance of Christian Ministries and the United Communion of Georgia Churches:
As I have reflected upon the work before us, I have become increasingly aware of how easy it is for church leaders to become distracted by matters that, while important, are not central to our divine assignment. One such distraction is the tendency to become overly concerned with how other fellowships, organizations, and ministries govern themselves.
Church polity has its place. Every organization must establish systems of leadership, accountability, administration, and oversight that support its vision and mission. Some fellowships operate differently than we do. Some embrace structures that differ from our own. Such differences have existed throughout church history and will likely continue to exist as long as the Church remains on earth.
However, I want to remind every leader within Fresh Manna that our primary responsibility is not to monitor, critique, compare, or concern ourselves with the internal affairs of other organizations. Our calling is much greater than that.
Our mandate is clear. We are called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, equip believers, strengthen churches, develop leaders, and reach those who are still lost. The Kingdom of God advances when the Church focuses on its mission, not when it becomes preoccupied with the methods, structures, and governance models of others.
The enemy would love nothing more than for the Church to spend its energy debating matters that do not win a single soul. While leaders argue over titles, structures, and organizational differences, there are men and women who have never heard a life-changing presentation of the Gospel. There are families in crisis, young people searching for direction, and communities desperate for hope. They do not need our opinions about another fellowship’s polity. They need an encounter with Jesus Christ.
Fresh Manna was not established to become a watchdog organization. We were called to be a Gospel organization. We were not commissioned to spend our time examining every decision made by other ministries. We were commissioned to preach repentance, teach truth, demonstrate love, and extend the reach of the Kingdom of God.
This does not mean we abandon our convictions or compromise our doctrine. It means we keep first things first. We remain anchored in truth while remaining focused on our assignment. We can be firm in our beliefs without becoming distracted by matters that do not directly advance the mission Christ has given us.
As leaders, let us invest our time in prayer, discipleship, evangelism, church planting, leadership development, and community impact. Let us focus on building healthy churches, raising mature believers, and equipping the next generation for service. Let us devote our attention to the work that heaven has assigned to our hands.
The Great Commission has not changed. The Gospel has not lost its power. The harvest is still plentiful, and the laborers are still few.
May we remain focused on the mission, faithful to the message, and committed to the work until the Lord returns.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15 KJV
