Hello everyone hope all is well...Its been awhile since I've been on...I want to post a little thing about loving your enemies... it's hard but we got to sometimes. I slipped and fell a week or so ago and then the landlord puts an eviction notice on my door after she sees the post that my roommate posted to her Facebook about me falling but I guess I got to go through it and not get and all upset and hateful but I think I need compensation for my hospital bills and pain and suffering to be honest...

There are times when the gospel message doesn’t fit into our way of thinking, and this is one of them. How are we expected to "love our enemies?" Jesus offers us an answer when he tells us to pray for them. So often we think of love as just an emotion, something we have no control over. While it is true that we can’t always control our feelings, we can control our actions, and love is a function of the will, not the heart. We are not expected to have gushy feelings for those who attack us, our country, our way of life, the people we love, but we are expected not to take action against them. If we do, are we just as wrong as they are? I have always found it ironic, that people use violence to bring about peace. IT DOESN’T WORK!

Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Jesus, did not resort to violence. Do we realize that our enemies are still God’s children loved by him just as we are? God does not want us to hate, but to love. Prayer is a very powerful force. All we need to do is look at the changes brought about over the years by constant prayer. At Fatima, Mary promised that Russia would return to her and her son if we prayed. It may not have happened as quickly as those of us who can barely wait for water to boil would have liked, but it happened. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but is does happen – one loving heart at a time. We can begin with our words and move on to our actions. Words of prayer and love can open the stoniest of hearts. As the song says, "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me."

Lord, it is not always easy to love those who have hurt us, or whose ideas we disagree with, but this is what God asks of us. Love is the only thing that can make enemies friends, help me to fill my life with friends. Amen.

Verse:
fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Psalms 37:1-2

Reflection:
No matter how hard things may seem on this earth, though, we have a reason to rejoice because we know that we have a Heavenly Father who calls us righteous and watches over us every day. Our future is certain because we are in Christ, the one who saved us and made us righteous. It is in Him, we can have the confidence in knowing that we will never suffer a painful and perilous fate.

Suggested prayer:
Dear God, it can become discouraging in this world when we are cast down and persecuted for our faith in you but, Father, we are thankful because we can have total trust in you; knowing that our lives and our future is secure with you. Please keep us strong in times where we are weakened by what we endure on earth. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Good morning everyone I hope everyone is having a blessed day it's chilly outside but the sun is shining thank you Lord...🏅
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1st John 4:17

Reflection:
It’s very easy to become discouraged by the things we see in this world. But you, dear Christian, should not be discouraged because God is always with you. Continue to find solace in God’s presence, trust in Him, and know that the wicked will have their day. In the meanwhile, stay fixed on God for He is good and his faithfulness if forever.

Suggested prayer:
Heavenly Father, I am grateful because I know that no matter what I face on this earth, nothing will separate me from the love you have for me. When I am mocked, insulted, or ostracized for choosing to follow you, though it may hurt me, I will not falter in my faith because your love is my strength. You supply me with the peace I need; you remind me of the glory to come. Even as In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse:
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Romans 5: 6-7

Reflection:
For a person to consider dying for someone, it would take a lot for them to decide to go through with it. A person is more likely to die for someone who has done good things, as opposed to dying for a bad person. But Christ came and died for us when we were at our worst state. Our sinful state was not enough to change his mind towards us. That is true love. That is a love that will never fail.

Suggested prayer:
Dear God, I simply pray that I never forget who Christ truly is. May I never make the mistake to think that he was a mere man or figure of history. Christ is so much more than that; he is my Savior. It is because of Christ I can speak to you, O God, with freedom and boldness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse:
O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: Psalms 7:1

Reflection:
Though David was a man after God's own heart and trusted in Him, yet, God allowed other men to sometimes persecute him. Yet, David was confident that in the end God would deliver him from all of his persecutors. In like manner, God may allow others to persecute believers, but we should not fear those who at most can kill the body but do no more but fear God in whose hands are both our bodies and our souls.

Suggested prayer:
O Mighty God of David, you are also our God today. Satan, the enemy of our souls, is always intent on persecuting us and would, if it were possible, destroy us. But we know that, though the righteous man fall seven times, he shall rise again. When we fall into sin, it's in our own weakness we fall; but we do not rist in our own strength, but in yours. We know that you always cause us to triumph in Christ and by your grace we will not be discouraged. Amen.

Verse:
Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee. Proverbs 20:22

Reflection: Contrary to what the world might say, revenge is never sweet. If someone wrongs you, do not seek to get back at them. That is not love and that is not of God. Focus on healing and forgiving instead, and move on with your life. This is mature and it is godly.

Prayer:
Dear God, I pray that in times where I am offended may I never stoop to the level of my offender. I pray that you will help me heal and forgive, instead of seek to gain revenge. I know that there is nothing in revenge. May I act in your love instead, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Oh my gosh I miss this little girl so much it hurts😢 hang in there lil "Amari Lui". I promise I'll be there to get you and all my belongings as soon as it's possible. I claimed that in Jesus' name amen amen. There's always a victory for the one that remains calm and honest with the patience to prepare themselves for the battle against devils lies and deception. For those that are reading this I would like to ask for prayer over my situation because I know for a fact that prayer works. Thank you in advance...God bless. ♡Love y'all.♡

Verse:
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Romans 6:13

Reflection:
Every single part of us should be dedicated to godliness and righteousness. We should never let any of our thoughts, gifts, or talents profit the enemy and his kingdom of darkness. From the job that you work in to the workouts you do, make sure that they give glory to God.

Suggested prayer:
Dear God, I commit all my thoughts, gifts, talents, and activities into your hands. Lord, may you show me the ones that do not bring glory to your name and may you help me only do the ones that reflect you in your true light. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Good morning ALL...I hope all is well after celebrating this New Year that is upon us may our new year be full Love Happiness Grace and abundance; This study this morning touches base for me. This is how I know God speaks to me boldly.

Verse:
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4: 12-13

Reflection:
One of the most important things we should learn, as Christians, is to be content. We will face periods in our lives where we will have plenty and we will face times of lack. Neither situations reflect on God’s character. God’s character is revealed in our endurance and our contentment because of our trust in Him. Don’t be moved by your situations. Be content in God. He has all your needs covered.

Prayer:
Dear God, I thank you that you are the source of my strength in every situation I go through. I know I can endure anything because Christ is my strength. May I never forget this, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Tell me that ain't God listening to everything that's going on around us...for those of you that pay attention and hear God's voice
Verse:
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Psalms 143:8

Reflection:😁👟👟👟👟👟😁The more you meditate on God’s loving kindness, the more you realize how good a Father he is. Every day, when we fellowship and communicate with God, we are exposed to another level of who He is. God’s love compels us to give Him praise because that is what we ought to do. Amen Amen Amen.

My prayer for today:Dear God, I desire to know and have more of you in my life. There is nowhere else where I can find your goodness, your love, and your faithfulness. I pray that all those who have not come to the knowledge of your goodness, Lord, will be able to receive the revelation too. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen

Good morning ALL I hope everyone is having a great day today it's on my heart for us to remember that we all come from the same creator and that were not supposed to be in division in the church are out of the church...♡♡♡

My favorite and most recognized quote:
"Together we stand divided we fall"

Reflection:
The world may seem more divided than ever before, at least if we listen to the news. China, America, South Korea, North Korea, Africa, the Middle East, Muslims, Jews, rich, poor, north, south...the list of divisions can go on and on. Think about where you are from: is there a group or groups of people that you are "supposed" to be different from?

In America, there is even today a split on the Mason-Dixon line, splitting the north and south during the Civil War. As an American, I can surely tell you that there is little difference between people in Maryland and in Virginia, yet they are supposedly on different sides. As a person that has traveled all over the world, I can also tell you that what I, an American, care about it nearly identical to what people in China, Brazil, and Africa care about.

We are all the same in the eyes of God. Consider these verses: do we not want the same things? Family, love, health, fulfillment. It is not different for a person in China as it is for a person in Australia. We all want to survive and thrive, being happy and safe along the way. Focusing on the differences and the divisions is not what Paul says important in these verses. Instead, we should focus on what binds us: a loving God, even to those that do not love Him back

Prayer:
Dear God, I thank you that I truly know who you are, through your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray that the rest of those who do not know you, will hear of and see your message of goodness. May I be part of those who proclaim the Gospel, always, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
