River City Pentecostals. "Where ALL things are possible!" We are a community of flawed Christ believers loving and encouraging one another to be our best through the power of God! At the R.C.P.

At RCP we want to Love God, Become More Like Him, and then Bring someone else on the journey! our mission and vision are more than just statements that "look good" or allow us to check off a box on a corporate church growth policy. They truly express what we are trying to achieve and what we want to become. From our educational programs to our dynamic worship services, all are designed to bring us closer to fulfilling our mission and achieving every element of our vision.

Sometimes we look at where we are and wonder if anything is changing. But God is still working, even in the season that feel quiet.

Keep praying.

Keep trusting.

Keep taking the next step in faith.

You may not see the whole picture yet, but you can trust the One who does. ❤️

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." - Philippians 1:6

🎉 21 Years of Faithful Leadership! 🎉

Join us in celebrating Pastor and First Lady Batten’s 21 years of faithful leadership at River City Pentecostals! ❤️

We are so thankful for all God has done in us, through us, and among us over the past 21 years. We are grateful for Pastor Batten’s Bible-based preaching, God-centered counsel, clear vision, and Christlike character that continue to guide and strengthen our church. We are equally thankful for Sis. Batten’s faithful leadership in worship and ministry, serving with excellence and a heart that reflects the heart of God. What a blessing it is to have leaders who are committed to following Jesus and establishing and equipping others do the same!

As we look back, we celebrate God’s faithfulness through every season. And we’re not stopping here! We’re looking ahead with great anticipation for the next 21 years and beyond. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for River City Pentecostals!

💬 Help us celebrate the Battens! Drop a shout-out in the comments and share some love (or favorite dad joke for Pastor Batten) as we honor their faithful leadership and the lasting impact they’ve made on our church community. 🎉❤️

Peace tends to get lost in the hustle and bustle of life. Responsibilities, tasks, to-do lists... all good, necessary things... tend to make us think if we're not moving, we're doing something wrong. But it seems scripture invites us to consider another way. Doing what is within our control, yes, but trusting God with the rest. He will be exalted, He has all power, and He is very aware of His children.

Courage doesn't mean you never feel afraid. Sometimes courage looks like taking the next step while your knees are still shaking because you know God is walking with you. Don't wait for fear to disappear before you obey. Trust the One who promised to go with you.

The dinner table is one of the best places to grow in faith together. Tonight, put the phones away for a few minutes and ask this question. You might be surprised by the stories, encouragement, and conversations that follow.

Some of the hardest seasons to trust God are the ones that don't make sense.

You prayed, but the answer wasn't what you expected.

You obeyed, but things still became difficult.

You trusted, but you still don't understand what God is doing.

Trust doesn't require you to pretend you don't have questions. It means choosing to believe God's character even when you can't understand His plan.

Remember what He's already done.

Keep doing what He's already told you to do.

And trust Him with what you can't see. You may not understand the whole story yet, but God does.
