St Mary Magdala Mass Celebration

Rev Shanon Sterringer, an ordained Roman Catholic female priest, will be presiding at a St. Mary Magdala Mass celebration in honor of the first apostle, Mary Magdala, the apostle to the apostles. Mary was also Jesus' very first disciple. Shanon is the pastor of a church here in Ohio.

When God calls women to be priests, no one should tell God, “No, women aren’t allowed to be priests.”

One way to honor God's call to women to be priests, deacons and bishops is to participate in Mass with a female priests. Come experience what Mass could be like once we allow women to answer God's call.

If other Catholics, who also want women priests, show up at this event, should there be, or could there be, some sort of discussion about how we might work together to actively advocate for women’s equality?
