🔥💜 ZION IGNITE TAKEOVER SUNDAY 💜🔥

What an amazing day at The City as our Zion Ignite Children & Youth Ministry took over! From singing 🎶 and dance 💃🏾 to ushering, announcements, and more, our young people served with excellence and passion.

Minister Evan Ford-White delivered a powerful message, **"Get an Inspector," from **Psalm 48:12-14**, reminding us to examine the foundation of our lives and recognize the faithfulness of God in every season.

The Word touched hearts, lives were impacted, and many came to the altar seeking prayer, healing, and deliverance. 🙌🏾

Sunday reminded us that our youth are not just the next generation, they are the **NOW generation**, being used by God right now!

🙌🏾 What an incredible 🔥 Pentecost Sunday at City of Zion! We had a powerful time in the Lord, marked by true unity. Our Worship & Arts department led us beautifully, singing and dancing before the Lord as we stood in one accord to praise our Heavenly Father. We were also blessed by an amazing surprise from Psalmist Keisha Briggs-Williams, whose beautiful voice ushered in the presence of the Holy Spirit so powerfully.

Building on that fire, Pastor ministered from Acts 1:4 (KJV) on "The Waiting Room," reminding us that Jesus’ 40 days on earth were a strategic season of preparation:

Prove: Showing He truly rose from the dead.

Restore: Strengthening the disciples.

Teach: Instructing on the Kingdom.

Commission: Preparing us for the work ahead.
Prepare: Readying us for the power of the Holy Spirit.

Remember: The waiting room is not a place of stagnation—it is a place of empowerment. Let’s carry this Pentecost fire throughout our entire week!

Today, we pause remember, honor, and thank God for the brave souls who gave everything for our freedom. They are our HEROES! We pray for their families and a world filled with His peace. We are blessed and grateful for their sacrifice. 🇺🇸

This Sunday was a special time in the Lord at both 8:30am and 10:30am services at The City of Zion; from praise and worship to our anointed choir, the Lord was truly in the place! To kick off our 5 day 6am prayer week with a powerful word delivered by Pastor Elgin Orton this morning on “The Strategy of Prayer” from 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV). Prayer is not just a routine, it is a strategy that reconnects us to God, realigns our posture, and positions us for divine response. 🙏🏾🔥

When God’s people humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from wicked ways, heaven responds. This message challenged us to move beyond surface-level prayer into intentional, strategic communion with God.

💐 What an AMAZING Mother’s Day we had at The City! 🙌🏽✨

From the powerful praise & worship reminding us just how good God has been 🎶🙏🏽, to the heartfelt video of our youth wishing all the mothers a Happy Mother’s Day 💕👩🏽‍👧‍👦, the love was felt all throughout the building!

A huge THANK YOU to Brick Studio for generously donating THREE graduation parties to graduating members 🎓🎉👏🏽, and to our incredible WOW Women’s Ministry for blessing mothers with special gifts 💝🌸.
