Dear SCC Family,

Good Wednesday Morning! I pray that you all are well. It is a great day to be a child of God! His mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness!

We have a very exciting week starting with our quarterly business meeting this evening at the church at 6:30. On Saturday we will have our quarterly ministry leaders meeting. We will be working on our 2027 church calendar. Then on Sunday we will celebrate our 65th church anniversary. And I just know that God is going to show up and show out.

I love you all, and I am humbled to call myself your pastor.

October 7, 2026

Dear SCC family,

Good morning, I pray that you’re all well, rested, and prepared for the day ahead. We are a blessed people because we serve a mighty God. Our God can do anything but fail.

Remember, we do not have Bible study tonight because of the Berean leadership conference. I hope you guys can join me tonight at seven at 1st Church of God in Columbus, Ohio.

Remember this Sunday we will be beginning our 65th church anniversary celebration with Oakley full Gospel Baptist Church. Bishop HD Ware, will be our speaker. I am looking forward to a great time of fellowship. Next week we will continue our 65th church anniversary celebration with service and dinner. I’m so excited about all that God is doing in our midst.

The following Sunday will be our pink in the pews service. This is how we celebrate those who have overcome or those that we’ve lost to breast cancer. I am looking forward to all that God is doing.

I love you all, and I’m humble to call myself your Pastor.

Dead SCC Family,

Good Morning! I pray that you are well and blessed on the last Wednesday of September. Not only is it the last Wednesday, it’s the last day of the month. Wow! Tomorrow begins the 10th month of the year.

Remember we have F3 tonight. The theme is chili. So bring your best pot of chili, crackers, or dessert. I can’t wait to see you all tonight!

Also, don’t forget to get those selfies into Dori TODAY for our SCC directory. It’s going to be great, but we need your help.

This Sunday we will observe the holy ordinances of baptism and communion. I am excited about what God is going to do this Sunday.

Next Sunday we will begin our 65th church anniversary celebration. Oakley Full Gospel Baptist Church will be with us, and Bishop H.D. Ware will be our speaker!!! The following Sunday we will complete the celebration with service and dinner afterwards. God has been good to us!

September 23, 2026

Dear SCC Family,

Good Wednesday Morning! I am sitting in my living room writing this email thinking about how good God has been to me. Every now and then, we have to take a moment, and think about how good God is. Because when we remember and focus on how good God is we will be encouraged to press on!

I’m looking forward to seeing you all tonight in Bible Study. We will continue our journey through the 19th chapter of Acts. Meet me tonight on FB Live or YouTube at 6:30.

Next Wednesday is F3 and the theme is chili. So bring out those chili recipes, go to Wendy’s, or bring some crackers. The following Wednesday, October 7th is the first day of Berean Leadership conference. So we will not have Bible Study that day.

Remember all roads lead to Oakley Full Gospel Baptist Church this Sunday. I am so excited to celebrate their 130th church anniversary with them.
