Dear SCC Family!

Good morning! First of all, let me start off by saying thank you. I appreciate everyone that showed up and showed out for our annual Praise in the Parking Lot and MISS service. And we thank God, that HE met us there!

I cannot wait to see you tonight in Bible Study as we begin chapter 19 of Acts. Meet me at 6:30 on FB Live or YouTube.

This Sunday we will observe the holy ordinance of Communion. As usual, I am looking forward to sharing the Lord’s supper with my church family.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

All roads lead to Oakley Full Gospel Church on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 11:00am to help them celebrate their 130th church anniversary! I am looking forward to fellowship with our brothers and sisters in the Faith.

I love you all, and I am humbled to call myself your pastor.

I pray that you are all doing well. I hope that you all know how much I love and appreciate each and every one of you. I pray that God continues to shower you with grace, mercy, and blessings!

Second Community Children’s Church was so FUN last week! It was all about the 3rd day of Creation.

Memory Verse: Genesis 1:12
“God saw that it was good.”

We talked about water and land how it produced vegetation (trees and fruit). We learned hand motions for tree, land, water, and fruit and played a freeze dance game using the hand motions. We made a craft showing land, water, trees, and fruit. For snack, we enjoyed some delicious apples and oranges to go with the lesson’s theme.

We will have Children’s Church again on Sunday, September 13th. Come join us!
