Today, we give thanks for the work, gifts, and contributions of people in every profession and walk of life—and we hope this holiday offers an opportunity for rest, renewal, and time with those you love.

First Community Church offices are closed today in observance of Labor Day. We’ll reopen tomorrow during regular business hours.

What does it really mean to love our neighbors—not just in words, but in the way we treat one another? Today, we’ll consider how humility, grace, and love can lead us beyond judgment and self-righteousness.

The celebration continues tonight! 🏕️❤️

Join us at 5 pm at First Community North for Akita Sunday as we celebrate an incredible Summer 2026 at Camp Akita!

We’ll gather for a special worship service featuring favorite camp songs, stories from campers and counselors, a message from Rev. Sarah Kientz, and the premiere of our Summer 2026 Camp Akita highlight video.
