Tamar's name meant palm tree, to sit up right, flower of the desert. After she was r***d by her half brother Amnon, she put ashes on her head, tore her robe; that only the king's daughters wore that were virgins. Tamar put her hand on her head and cried. Her identity was connected to her robe and her robe to her destiny . She remained in her brother Absalom's house in a desolate place. She never r

ecovered, she never lifted up her head. God is calling us out of that desolate place. he color purple represents royalty, empowerment, majesty. I can't change what happened to me , but I can refuse to allow it to cover my world with darkness. I choose to forgive, break the chains of shame, pain, low-self worth through the renewal of my mind through God's word. I once forgot that flowers existed, and the sun shined. I no-longer seen the beauty of the world only devastation. I now color my world with purple.
