We Are All Accountable

We are all accountable for everything we do and everything we say, even our thoughts.

“For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. At the Feet of Jesus

Let’s start the day with this questions: Are you a Mary or Martha?

Jesus is at there house

“As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.””
Luke 10:38-42 NIV

Let us choose the better like Mary to be at the feet of Jesus.

Giving God Our Leftovers 😢

When you think about it, no one loves us the way God loves us and yet in our movement, in the things we do, we give more attention to those who don’t love us nearly the way God loves us and has not done nearly as much.

“Honor the Lord with your wealth And with the first fruits of all your crops (income);

Doesn’t our God deserve first place in our life?

I was listening to this song and the songwriter said I love you more than anything, it made me think, do we love him more than anything and if we do, why does He always get our leftover time, money, heart, mind, and thoughts?

A Day That The Lord Has Made

This day was made by the Lord, it's not the issue of the day, it's not the people of the day that made this day but it is the Lord who has made this day.

Because of that we should rejoice and be glad in it. This means we should be showing great joy or delight in this day.

Oh rejoice people cause God did not create a day of junk or a day to destroy us, He created a day that will continue to shape, mode and make us.

Therefore I say rejoice and be glad in it.

The Holy Spirit

There is a way to know that the Holy Spirit lives in us. The knowing is in the fruit He produces in us. Is the fruit of: love, patience, kindness, gentleness, long-suffering, goodness, peace, faithfulness, and joy - being seen in our lives when conditions calls for them?

Cause the world will know us by the fruit we bear.

Honor those in authority

We are to honor those who have authority over us. Therefore let us remember that Jesus is the ultimate authority and as we submit to Him we also submit to those who have authority over us.

”Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God [granted by His permission and sanction], and those which exist have been put in place by God. Therefore whoever resists [governmental] authority resists the ordinance of God. And those who have resisted it will bring judgment (civil penalty) on themselves.“

Our Victory

Our victory over this world and the circumstances of life doesn’t happen because of us. It’s not our education nor our intellect or our strength that brings us victory and peace, no, it’s our close walk with Christ that does it.

Don't Give In To Circumstances

When the threats come remember and exercise the attitude that The Most High God is able. I will not bow down to my circumstances, I will only bow to The Most High . I will go through whatever is necessary to be what The Most High needs me to be.

My love for Him will be known, so I will Speak clear, I'll be bold and I'll be fearless.

I know and I understand He will never leave me nor forsake me. Therefore I will never leave Him or forsake Him.

Whether he does anything or not, He’s Able!!!

Live According To God's Wisdom

The God that we serve is real, His principles and His standards are true. He has given His people the law of love to live by and tells them to operate according to His wisdom. His word tells them if a man lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all liberally.

Who is there among you who is wise and intelligent? Then let him by his noble living show forth his [good] works with the [unobtrusive] humility [which is the proper attribute] of true wisdom.

But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).
