The Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church is the result of a major citywide summer tent effort that began July 11, 1982. With the support of Allegheny West Conference pastors, officers and workers, Dr. Earl E. Cleveland, Tent Evangelist from Huntsville, Alabama, preached for nine weeks at t

he corner of Broad Street and Ohio Avenue on Columbus' near Eastside. As the Holy Spirit moved throughout the crowd night after night, several baptisms resulted and by the end of the effort a total of 213 persons were baptized. Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church is a chosen congregation on a mission to make our presence known and win souls to be saved in the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
