What's happening at Broad Street UMC this summer? Here are a few things.
Manna Café BSUMC is still hosting the 3rd Wednesday, but we ask you to sign up, and if it looks like we have enough, come anyway, and help, the online list is the minimum we need to have the meal run smoothly. If you are unavailable on the 3rd Wednesday, please check another Wednesday! If you have a little extra time this summer, we would love for you to join us, since people will be traveling and some of our regulars may be gone. (Including Pastor Lori for a few weeks!)
Sunday, July 12- Ice Cream Social After Worship
Pelotonia Come cheer on the Pelotonia bike riders as they have raised millions of dollars to combat cancer. The cyclists will be biking from 17 to 165 miles. We will have a live DJ playing music, and other companies and corporations will be joining us. We have some cheering items, but feel free to bring your favorite sports cowbell, hand-clappers, or your best cheering voice. This is a fun event that you will not want to miss.
Voice Lesson Available at Broad Street UMC Cassie Wilson has begun a Music Studio at our church. She is open for voice lessons and can be reached at (567) 674-2372 or email at [email protected]. If you or someone you know might be looking for a coach, give her a try. Jessica Kahn, BSUMC Choir Soprano, would love to share her experience with you, so find her after worship.
Brazil Medical Mission Presentation- Join us in the Parlor on Sunday, August 2, immediately following the Worship Service. Keith Holten, Chris Clough, and Craig VanderVeen will share a short presentation about their recent Medical Mission Trip to the Amazon region of Brazil. Come hear about their work, view highlights, and ask questions about the project.
Organ Recital– Saturday, August 1, 2pm, Ethan Morris organ recital in sanctuary.
