On Sunday, May 10th, 2026, our St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Catholic Mission family came together to joyfully celebrate Mother’s Day with a special Holy Mass dedicated to all mothers. 🙏❤️

We thank God for the love, sacrifice, strength, and prayers of every mother who continues to guide families with faith and compassion. 🌸👩‍👧‍👦💖.

Following the Holy Mass, our community enjoyed fun-filled games, fellowship, laughter, and a delicious dinner together at the parish hall. 🎉🍽️😊 It was a beautiful evening filled with gratitude, unity, and love as we honoured the wonderful mothers in our community. 🌷✨

Rudyard Kipling said, "God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers". May God continue to bless all mothers abundantly for the countless ways they reflect His love in our lives. 🙌💝

Last Saturday, April 25th, St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Catholic Mission, Columbus, had the blessing of serving at the YWCA Family Centre in Columbus, Ohio 🤝❤️

Our mission members volunteered to support families experiencing homelessness—parents and children working hard to rebuild stability and hope in their lives 🏠✨ The Family Centre provides a safe, temporary shelter, and we were grateful to be a small part of their journey.

A team of five volunteers helped serve lunch and clean the dining area 🍽️🧹, creating a warm and welcoming environment for the residents. We are especially thankful to the Syro-Malabar Church for sponsoring the meal, making this act of service possible 🙏

It was truly a humbling experience to stand in solidarity with these families and serve with compassion 💛

✝️🌅 **Easter Sunday Celebration – April 5th, 2026** 🌅✝️

With hearts full of joy, our church community gathered to celebrate the glorious Resurrection of our Lord this past Sunday. The beautiful enactment of the Resurrection reminded us of Christ’s triumph over death and the promise of new life. 🙏✨

Following the Mass, we came together in fellowship and shared a warm and joyful dinner at the parish hall, strengthening our bonds as one family in Christ. 🍽️❤️

🙏 Maundy Thursday was beautifully celebrated yesterday at St. Mary’s Mission, Columbus, Ohio 🙏✨

We gathered in prayer to reflect on the deep love ❤️ and humility 🤍 of Christ. Through the remembrance of the Last Supper 🍞🍷 and the washing of the disciples’ feet 🫧🦶, we were reminded of His call to serve one another with compassion 🤝 and grace 🌿.

May this sacred celebration ✝️ inspire us to walk in humility 🙇‍♂️, love ❤️, and selfless service 💖 each day.

John 13:14-15: "Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.✝️"

On Sun, March 29th, St Mary's Mission in Columbus, Ohio, joyfully celebrated Palm Sunday, marking the beginning of Holy Week. 🙏

The congregation gathered in prayerful reverence, carrying blessed palms in commemoration of our Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The liturgical celebration served as a profound reminder of both the joy of Christ’s kingship and the solemn journey toward His Passion. ✝️🌿

It was a meaningful occasion that brought the faithful together in unity, reflection, and renewed devotion. ⛪

Our Annual Lenten Retreat (Sat, March 21 - Sun, March 22, 2026) at St. Mary's Mission, Columbus, was a truly grace-filled experience for our parish community 🙏

We were blessed to have Fr. Mukkamkuzhiyil Kurian, PhD (originally from St. Mary’s Church, Marangoly and currently Professor at St. Joseph’s Pontifical Seminary, Ernakulam) lead us through a powerful time of reflection and renewal.

Through his inspiring messages, Father reminded us of the importance of a joyful heart 😊, the lives of impactful saints, and how each of us is called to be a saint in our daily lives. He emphasised the beauty and necessity of the Holy Mass ✝️, Confession, and how God abundantly blesses those who dedicate their time to His work.

We thank everyone who participated and made this retreat a meaningful journey of faith. May the fruits of this Lenten journey continue to guide us as we walk in faith together.
